  1. If we go down, financially we will implode. Were in massive debt as it is. But you deserve everything you get lerner you Dick head.

And what exactly will he 'get'. People should start realising that when all is said and done, Lerner will still walk away a millionairre and we as a club wil be ****.

  2. I think we need one more point, and I think we will get it. The law of averages suggests that if you play to draw the next 5 matches, your bound to draw one.

We are royally **** next season though and I fully expect us to get relegated. We potentially have one of the worst managers to have ever managed in the premier league at the helm.

The most disinterested ive been in 20 years. Dont go anymore and Ive even stopped watching. The man has driven every ounce of enjoyment out of the sport for me.

I cant put into words how much I hope he gets run over or something.

  3. I think it would take something very special from the teams below us for us to be relegated.

That said, it isnt impossible and if we lose to United and teams around us continue to pick up points then the Bolton game becomes massive.

I personally dont think we will go down, but I didnt think blues would last season and they did. Playing for draws is a dangerous game and it has failed before for Mcleish.

God I hate our manager. More than anything in the world.

  4. The damage that Mcleish may do with money over the summer could set Villa back five years. This man will destroy our club given time. The sooner he goes, the better.

Ive said it before, every week he is here, it sets us back two. The man is a cancer. He single handedly drives 10,000 people away from Villa park each week and that number will grow to 15,000 next year.

  5. I heard a ridiculous stat earlier this season that Stoke have only ever had more than 50% possession once in there time in the Premier League.

Someone might be able to correct me on this but it was something along those lines.

I turned the game off at half time. I just couldnt watch it. Its heartbreaking to see what a few men are doing to our great club.

    Mcleish out. *sigh*

  6. The Petrov illness will probably save Mcleish his job. I firmly believe that Bolton will stay up because of Muamba and now Villa will probably work harder for there 3 points week in week out.

Hope he gets better soon though. a model Professional and although I dont rate him, a bloody lovely bloke. I can assure you he is one who cares about the progress of our club.

  7. Most of the opposition fans I have spoken to don't even mock us anymore.

    They actually pity us.

It does"nt work like that over here.

    I get lots of stick

In Perth? Who the f**k from??

I imagine a lot of Irish people who support Man Utd or Liverpool and pretend they know a lot about football.

Cascarino, whilst a massive Pr*ck, is right on this occasion. Of course, the one man who cant see it is Lerner.

'Oh here we go Alex, have the managers job here at AVFC. We firmly beleive you can turn around you catastrophic record of relegation and make us into the force we once were. Oh, and we'll pay you more than the spanish manager...you know what, your so good, **** it, lets make you the 20th highest paid manager in Europe'

I can just picture when Randy first made that phone call.

    Lerner = :bonk:

  8. I just don't get rants motives to hire McLiesh. He wasn't wanted by those who count yet he is hired. On silly wages and a long contract. All this after he read his CV? Laughable.

I haven't gone to a single game this season, I said I wouldnt until McLiesh is gone. Wrong thing to do maybe as I should support the club but I do just the easier and cheaper way, at home or in the pub. It's the principle that I feel randy slapped every single villa fan in the face last June.

Get rid of McLiesh will be rands greatest achievement. Just sayin'.

I think lerner did look st his cv and very carefully which is why he hired him. if you look what he did with rangers it is very similar to us. when he went to rangers he got rid of about 18 players from the advocaat era and replaced them all with bosman signings or low fee low wage players from around Europe. i expect a repeat at villa in the summer with about 5-6 players leaving with a load of people you have never heard of being bought like international players from Belarus of somewhere random like that. the likes of bent and Ireland will not be here much longer

You may be able to do that at a club like Rangers playing the likes of Kilmarnock and Dundee each week.

Try and do that in the premiership and we could well be slaughtered.

But I admire you for looking into the explanations of why he was hired.

    There must be a reason...someone?

  9. where was the emphasis in those comments? was it "arsenal are an elite club, we cant EXPECT to beat them" or "arsenal are an elite club, we cant expect to beat THEM"? because they're 2 very different things

Whilst I can understand exactly the areas of the comment your trying to emphasize to prove that it might not be all that bad of a comment....

The simple fact of the matter is.

He should never. ever. say anything like that. Ever.

Mcleish never went to the Emirates on saturday 24th March to win. He didnt. He knows it. The arsenal fans I know who went to the game know it. And worst of all. Our fans have come to expect it.

Ive also heard rumours of a bust up with Given in the dressing room after the game after Given started mouthing off at him whilst on the pitch. Id bet my bottom dollar on it being due to the negative tactics he has to endure in front of him.

Look at Gabby. He doesnt want to be at the club. He looks disinterested. Players are on twitter telling the world its 'the only time in there life they aint enjoyed playing football'. You have players shouting at the bench at disbelief over tactics and substitutions. You have dwindling attendances. People boycotting games. Fans arguing amongst themselves in the stands.

This man is killing our club. Every week that goes by sets us back 2 in the long run. He is a cancer and sacking him is the only cure. Lets just hope by the time it happens, it hasnt spread too much...because if he has time to instill his tactics into a team that he buys, we could be complete relegation fodder for a manager who comes in.

We have class players at this club. Ok, not many, but we have a few. We have a forward line (potentially of)

    --------------Bent-----------------

    Gabby-----Ireland-------Nzogbia

That is a very good front 4. Its not a front 4 that will win us the league but its one that can compete. Bent was isolated every week he played. Ireland argues with Mcleish whilst on the pitch. N'zogbia is....somewhere and Gabby looks disinterested...something I havent seen in him before.

I have had a season ticket for 15 years. I didnt renew this season. Whilst some see it as a sin, I did so because I couldnt stand the fact we went out and got a shite manager from Birmingham City. Maybe a righteous man would/should have given him time, but I wasnt willing too...I knew exactly what he would bring and deep down, most villa fans did too.

    Our chairman didnt.

Will he be sacked in the summer. My heart says yes, but my head says no. It will however, be interesting to see how Lerner takes the monumental drop in revenue from season tickets, merchandise and the general villa brand. This might actually equate to more than the cost of sacking Mcleish and if this is the case we may get lucky and see him removed.

AVFC is in a dire dire situation. The worst Ive seen it certainly in my lifetime. I hear people talking about the days of Mcneill and Venglos as dark days so I cant really compare..but i know from my perspective it has become my worst nightmare playing out in front of me.

Please, please get this loser as far away from my club as possible.

  10. We'll go to Liverpool and get hammered knowing our luck, the bin dippers will at last find some decent home form, bloody scouse gits...

First of all. The leafs suck.

Second...You say 'knowing our luck'...we will get hammered.

It has nothing to do with luck. If we were a decent side and playing well it would be unlucky to lose to Liverpool yes.

    But

We play to draw and often to only lose by 1 or 2 goals. If we lose to Liverpool it wont be because of bad luck, it will be because our manager never had any intention of winning that game.

Yep I know the Leafs suck, secondly I was only saying "knowing our luck" in jest as I know it will be because McLeish is tactically inept and we just aren't good enough at the moment, jeez I really put myself through it with the two teams I support don't I but I wouldn't change either of them for the world....

  11. "You can come here and lose but we're disappointed in the manner we lost the first two goals - they were definitely preventable.

"We got in about them in the second half and Andy [Weimann] had a fine chance, but we didn't get that goal and Arteta wrapped it up.

"It's Arsenal we were playing, don't forget - one of the elite clubs.

"We did lay plans to try and win the game and definitely had the power and team to get goals, but the early goals nailed us."

More of a question...As i didnt watch the match...but is this a fair reflection?

Did we try and win the game?

    Did we get amongst them?

Its nice of him to remind us we were playing Arsenal though. The same Elite club we played off the park at the end of the last season.

    This man is insane.

  13. I didnt even watch the game this morning...

Its so easy to type that aswell...Weird. Villa is pretty much my whole life and yet the man who manages us has completely sucked the life out of the club, the players and the fans. Its difficult to fully comprehend how much affect one man can have on the club. He's also being paid millions to do this.

Its bewildering. Every man and his dog knew villa would be in this situation if Mcleish was hired. Have you ever seen 1000 fans turn up and chant on the steps of the ground against the appointment of a manager? To deface club property before a man is even hired?

And yet...they still go and hire him?

Is this some sort of joke?

Is my worst nightmare being played out in front of my very eyes?

Aston Villa is being destroyed by this man. The man above him. And the man above him.

    Its a ****' farce.

  14. You know, I agree with what a lot of the people are saying on here, paticularly Blandy and Bicks.

I just have one niggling question...

Could this have happened to any other set of fans? I know what you mean when you say this...but...why is it always Liverpool fans?

In my opinion, they are scum, always have been and always will be.
