And who the hell would post the tweet on here?
Idiots. The lot of 'em.

I watched him live back in 2018 for Benfica and he was absolutely special.
He got a transfer to the wrong team though, from what I read at the time he didn't want to go too far, he was still very young.
He is a sensational player, he is better than Buendia, probably on par with prime Grealish, and he would slot in to any European team.
In my opinion, it's unlikely he comes to Villa.
Whoaaaa, be careful what you say on here. Buendia is the second coming of Christ to most..

I’ve been thinking more and more about our team in February and there are a lot of decisions to make…
Personally, id go with this….
————————Thuram————————
———————Félix———————————
Chukwueze———————————Bailey
———————Luiz——Kamara—————Then bring Ramsey, Buendia and Coutinho on in the second half.

Not that big of a transfer

I understand that but the big elephant in the room though is the cost, we aren’t even in that league or even close.
Yes we have incredibly rich owners but we have FFP considerations and our financials are not that of a club that can purchase a Felix. Unless his club took a massive loss on his fee that they paid, even greater than 50% and he took a reduction in wages, he’s well out of our league financially.
This can’t be possibly a real option.
You’re probably right tbf. We’d have to get rid of at least Ings and Coutinho to be able to afford this bloke (I’d Imagine). No way anybody is taking Ings off us.
That said, we do pay Digne £150k a week. That tells me we’re happy to pay it if we can.

My main concern with J. Felix is how he’ll settle in alongside Thuram.

He’ll need someone to play with up there. Mbappe might fancy a new challenge too?

...but I **** hate his timewasting antics. I wish referees dealt with it properly tbh.
We all do, but whilst it’s ‘allowed’, we may as well use it to our advantage.

How much is he worth realistically?
However much someone is willing to pay for him.
We wouldn’t accept anything less than £50m though and even that feels light, given his worth to us and the cost to replace him.

The best bit isn't that he got a photo, it's that Ronaldinho actually shared the pic on his own Insta stories.
That’s what I thought! Mental.

It was like when everyone raved over Messi in Pep's Barca team. At the time I said if Iniesta clicked then Barca clicked. Outstanding player and the one you had to stop.
With respect to Iniesta, who indeed was a top player, I don’t think the above is true. Messi is probably the greatest player of all time and was the player you needed to nullify at Barcelona in that great team.

I mean possibly. You never know with them lot. Ain't Goldbridge who's got the biggest United channel by far on YouTube a brummie?
Lives in Solihull.

Grealish up front in an Emery 4-4-2 and being allowed to drop a little deeper at times is such a tantalising prospect though. Admit it.

The FIFA World Goalkeeper of the year?
The very same one dropped for Kepa.
I wouldn't have him in the Villa side. -

Who is this Champions League club?
City -Ederson
Liverpool - Alisson
Bayern - Neuer
PSG - Donnarumm
Chelsea - Mendy
Real - Courtois
Barcelona - Ter Stegen
Atletico - Oblak
These are the only Champions League clubs that could probably afford him. His Arsenal history probably rules them and Spurs out and United will go for a more mobile passer to join in defence/midfield to replace De Gea like Ajax had
Chelsea it is then. Mendy is a liability.

I agree.
It's great having pace and power. Watkins, Ramsey etc. but you also need guile and the game in this country has moved on. It's not just about bringing in Steve Sidwell and John Carew and trying to bully teams, we need to have better footballers than our opposition. Felix would help that I'm sure.
