I think the lack of communication from the club about the January transfer window is an embarrassment.

Us fans deserve to know what is going on.

It’s total silence from the club on this topic, something doesn’t feel right.

You being serious or taking the piss?

With what we have available right now I think this is our best option (but I’d be happy to put Sanson or Chuk into Ings’ spot too):

This team gets torn to shreds defensively. Far far too attacking. L

Nah I’m gone now.  I just wanted something concrete and the photo of him in the Man City car got me there.  I’m in the angry phase now!

All the fluffy stuff now from others about wishing him well and we shouldn’t be call him a snake just grates at me at the moment.

One of our own turns his back on us, he’s a snake and he can go f##k himself!

You're about 48 hours behind the rest of us mate. Enjoy the ride 😂

    With everyone fit I'd go

    .......................Martinez.....................

    Cash........Konsa.....Mings.......Targett

    ....................Nakamba........................

    .............McGinn..Sanson.................

    Buendia...........Watkins..........Bailey

Yeah I'm sure we've just chucked £25/30m on Ings to have him on the bench....

Let’s not get bitter lads. He’s probably a bigger Villa fan that a lot on here, myself included. I couldn’t even bring myself to watch half the games when we were in the Championship, he spent 3 years of his career down there with Villa.

He gets to push on and play at the level he belongs right now, we get 100m, maybe he comes back to Villa at the end of his career?

The club stood by him when he was being an utter dick, making a fool of himself on holidays, breaking covid rules, crashing his car etc and he repays them by skulking off as the season is about to begin.

Forget this fairytale of him returning in the future. Not interested. When it's confirmed he's officially gone he's just another ex player. Barry, Miller, Delph etc, he's just another one of them.

Axel will be 24 in a few months and has about 70 senior appearances to his name, some of which are coming on as sub. I know people will quote what happened to Mings as an example of how things can change but he had a couple of serious one off injuries. Axel just seems to get lots of niggles. Would be a bonkers move in my view unless he was on a free!

Tyrone Mings had about 80 career appearances when he joined us.

It's utter trash. Bunch of wind-up merchants riling people into calling in.

In my defence, it was more of something sport related to listen to while out on a walk (I'd gone through all the Villa themed podcasts for the week)

We're slightly off topic but Jamie O'Hara was on the other day spouting utter bollocks about us and I very nearly called in. Only thing that stopped me was I was driving and didn't have my hands free set up 🤣

Lansbury-esque hair and probably would have  similar impact if signed.

Think we could do better. The carrot munchers would probably want something like £40 million for him as well.

1 year left on his contract. Would likely cost under £20mil.

He is so weak though for his size. But defo potential to transform that.

Grealish used to be weak as piss though too but he put in the hard work with the strength and conditioning coaches, to Grealish's credit though it sounds like he did a lot of work on his own to. Nothing to say Cantwell couldn't bulk up.

Bissouma is too expensive, far better buying abroad at his crazy price

He would be massively expensive but he's also acclimatised to English football. Signings from abroad no matter how much potential they have will always carry an element of risk.
