The wording of the article would certainly suggest that they talking about £203m cash outflow, which includes addons and installments from previous transfers as well. That puts into perspective claims of some "net spend experts" that we didn't spend more cash than we got for grealish...looks like we forked out another £100m last season.
There's no word about amortisation, but this line looks very encouraging "Wages costs stayed stable at £137m"
Now, I'm hoping that this 400k profit doesn't include £100m we got for grealish if it does....than its not pretty, and our operating loss was £100m but seeing we only turned over £178.4m i see it highly unlikely we made a profit on such a low turnover without inclusion of player sales into equation...
If we hadn't sold Grealish I'd imagine we wouldn't have signed Ings, Bailey and Buendia.

Never noticed before from watching on TV but from being at the match today he looked really slow?

Why? Who would you have brought on to change that game? Coutinho?
I thought Emery did well in the tactical battle, but just got caught out by their superior player quality. It wasn’t one of those games where you come away thinking we didn’t stand a chance.
Had Ings on the bench? Even bringing him on with 20 minutes to go would have been better than waiting til it was too late in my opinion.

Not gonna lie I'm pissed off with the lack of subs tonight.

Beale was quite scathing of the club yesterday on TS, can imagine it didn’t go down well with Purslow and could effect Tim’s loan deal. Wouldn’t surprise if we recalled him in Jan.
Pathetic if the club did recall him due to that reason. He's getting a lot of game time for a team at the top of the Championship. Absolutely mental to recall him out of spite.

We live in hope.
But I think the fact he hasn't posted a thing on social media after the win, and that he's been replaced in the French squad, says a lot.
Fearing the worst here.
Didn't think he had been called up this time around? The squad was announced before he got injured yesterday.

Can't wait to see the response on here when we sign Sarr off Watford and Gerrard decides to start playing a 5-3-2

Chelsea might give us a loan deal, they can't play all of their new signings and all of their existing players. We could even have offered Coady a season loan if the injury had happened a week earlier. Who can we now get? I hope the club have a couple of options in mind.
Coady is dire in a 2 man centre back partnership that's why Wolves let him go.

This bloke is just speculating based on the same info as the rest of us though. He knows about sports injuries but not the actual inside info.

If he is out injured it's possibly a blessing in disguise anyway, he was only one poor game away from half of this forum declaring him to be shit anyway

Man of the match easily today, he might be worrying about the rest of the clowns or if he can hand in a transfer request before the end of the window
Excellent satire.

Conor coady would have bene perfect
My understanding is Wolves have let him go due to wanting to move to a back 4, Coady is dire in a 4 he's a completely different player in a 5. Wouldn't fit our back 4 at all.
