Smith played him nearly every game he was fit, Farke didnt play him though Gilmour wasnt very good for Norwich

Apparently i'm talking utter rubbish then...ignore my comment 😂

  2. Depends whether or not they would actually play him. They had Gilmour on loan from Chelsea last season and I don't recall him really getting a chance. I guess he wasn't a Smith signing though if i remember correctly.

In my opinion, Kessler-Hayden is better than Cash going forward and has more end product. Cash is better than Kessler-Hayden defensively. There’s a reason we gave Kessler-Hayden a new 5 year contract recently

We gave Cash a contract extension this year too. He's contracted til 2027. There's a reason he was given a new deal.

I think it’s a possibility, Kessler-Hayden offers more than Cash going forward. Kessler-Hayden will learn to defend better as he gains more experience. Kessler-Hayden is a terrific prospect, don’t get me wrong, I rate Cash very highly but I think it’s just as simple as Kessler-Hayden is better or will be better. We gave Kessler-Hayden a new 5 year contract about a year ago for a reason in my opinion. It was the longest contract we’ve ever given to an 18 year old. Even Jack Grealish only got a 4 year contract at the same age I think, I could be wrong on that

You genuinely think KKH is better now? Wow. I know you like to be enthusiastic about our players and there potential but come on.....Cash is a Polish international. KKH has had half a decent season in League 1. The Premier League is an entirely different ball game. He may well go on to be a fantastic player but to suggest he's as good as Cash is frankly a bit daft.

    What about 4 2 3 1 with the following:

                          Martinez

    KKH    Chambers   Carlos   Digne

            Kamara      Iroegbunam

    Bailey           Buendia     Coutinho

                          Watkins

I don’t think Gerrard would ever pick it but I was trying to pick a side with good balance. It’s got pace, goals link up from front to back, defensive cover, playing out from the back and a mixture of youth and experience.

There's not a chance we drop Cash for KKH.

€5m or so. A bit more if there is a club in England who are interested.

We paid what £11 million for him and he's got 2 years left on his contract. Needs to go this summer really for us to fetch a decent fee.

Not keen, looks like a white shirt accidentally washed with a blue towel and this is the end result.

Also very plain and dull, yet they would’ve got paid a fortune for the lacklustre design.

Each to there own. I think it looks simple but classy.

We finished 14th. We brought in a CL winner and a 120k left back in January. We didn't win a lot of games we should have won.

This table from x date needs to stop.

It's fair to take into account the whole picture. Fact is yes we finished 14th. However, it's reasonable to consider the table from when Gerrard took over. If you choose not to even consider that then that's up to you. The table from x date doesn't need to stop if people choose to take that data into account.

Gregory seems to be implying that we are considering suarez, alvarez (dont see how that happens as he is a city player unless its a loan) and eddie nkiteh from arsenal

I think you've read it wrong (maybe I have) but I think he's saying we're considering Suarez and in the past we have looked at Alvarez and Nketiah.

We're not going to be signing players of their quality who will happily sit on the bench. The depth argument is redundant as there's always a 'well what if they get injured?' hypothetical - you can't just sign a million players.

It's almost like Nakamba no longer exists. He's not perfect by a long stretch but as a back up to Kamara he will do. Hopefully we wouldn't need to call on him too much, there's also the option of Tim.

  11. So with Forest winning and getting promotion, I wonder if they will take the plunge and make his transfer permanent? If they offer anything upwards of £5million I think that would be good business for both parties. We could maybe even hopefully include some kind of buy back clause in case he does fulfill his potential at Forest.

    Or he’s not that great!

Forest have been on top.  Davis isn’t doing enough, moving around to call for the ball.  He’s had a couple of nice touches, a couple of poor touches but generally just plodded around upfront.  Now if he’s unfit, fair enough, get him off and bring the other striker on.  If he’s ok and that’s how he’s playing then he needs to move more and help because they are on top.  How anybody thinks he’s a PL striker I’ll never know.

Hasn't he not long come back from an injury? They obviously rate him to be playing him when he's not fully fit.
