  1. With the 7th pick in the VT Mock Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select... Morris Claiborne LSU Cornerback Very much a case of a player being too good to pass on, though the Jags would have been looking at improving their pass rush. The first real sign of how pivotal Cleveland's selection is to the rest of the draft, Jags would not have been expecting Claiborne still on the board here.
  2. I'll join with this if that's ok. Minnesota Vikings select.... Matt Kalil USC Offensive Tackle No real surprise with this, they may be tempted to go for Blackmon to give Ponder a target but, seeing as he's going to be their guy this year at least, they need to better protect him to give him a chance to do anything. Next pick is the one which could shape the whole draft in my opinion...
  3. Can't quite get my head round the Tebow trade!
  4. I tried putting the four-fold on online but it wouldn't let me do it as a multiple! That Amelia was 11/10 so I just put a tenner on her, that acca would have been like printing money
  5. Bicks the name under the players shirt on the team screen is showing who that player is playing against this week
  6. I cannot believe anyone watching yesterday could put Petrov's performance on a par with Makoun's, he had a very good game yesterday and should remain in the team alongside Reo Coker for the rest of the season.
  7. It is also far more effective with overlapping full backs, something which Cuellar and Baker, however well they played last night, certainly aren't!

    MON stay or go

Stay. 'Sting', MON has only been at the club a little over three years. Blaming him for not improving the squad during the 9/10 months he was unemployed seems a bit harsh. I see not signing Bent has become the new criticism of his summer dealings, at least the form of Dunne and Collins has stopped you going on about how he should have signed Upson and Hangeland!
  9. Sidwell covers more ground than anyone on the pitch, a lot of his work is closing down space and as a result may go unnoticed but he certainly cannot be accused of being 'passive'. Petrov is certainly capable of being effective in a 4-4-2 but the width with which we play will always lead to instances where we are outnumbered in the middle of the park. I don't think we can afford to leave him out of any system we may adopt simply because he is the best we have at retaining the ball in the squad.
