I think this is really good that Tommy see's that he HAS to perform. Imo its the only position we have genunie competition and the players know it! If tommy screws up he will be droped (hopefully) Even though we have loads of midfielders you would never know they were playing for there place with some of the showings last year!!

Absolutley no point in selling Vass if its part of getting Baros in. Both similar whilst Vass as the advantage of being a Villa fan, loves the club and is quicker than Baros. Baros as the advantage of..........oh thats right nothing!

To be honist i dont think we will sign anyone else and o'learys last statement proved this in no uncertain terms. I do hope we sign others obviously but have got bored checkin the internet all the time for any news rumour titbit. Have just prepared myself that will be no more and am happy with the four we have (think phillips will be a bargin). If any do come along it will be a nice surprise.

Not a chance O'leary will sell Vass even if we try and get Baros imo. No way he will keep Luke over Vass as one of our 4 first team strikers (if i'm making sense) However, Vass is a striker who doesnt score goals! In my opinon we should be trying to get Baros(even though is shite) and having Vass,Phillips,Angel as our other strikers. Hmm doesnt sound that good when only one of them can finish anyway other might think its good. If we sign Baros i will support him as a villa player, at the momment he aint hense overrated and rubbish! I really hope this Vass stuff is rubbish because we have NO pace in our team and if we get rid of him i think my nan could sprint through our team!
