  1. For those on Twitter. If you like to laugh at West Ham, then have a look at David Sullivan's son, Jack on twitter. He feeds their fans hope then seems to always let them down.

    @jsullivanwhu

    Latest news re Carroll:

"Big deal-we can’t persuade the player to come, but we have not given up on it."

  2. I don't take any joy from saying this, but I think Albrighton is the most limited attacking player in the squad, along with Delfouneso.

It frustrates me immensely every time I see his name in the starting line up.

He plays football exactly like I do. Poorly.

Don't be so hard on yourself, Shillzz. I have seen your lollipop and it is something to behold!

  3. Update please.. :)

    Right...Monday Update.

Must say it was all a bit 'meh' but that was probably because we didn't plan it that well.

We left the Trafford Centre at around 10pm and headed near home. We drove around in total for about an hour trying to find the right spot. I think that killed the moment as it was more like "lets find somewhere and get it over and done with.

After 2 aborted locations we finally found a good spot. We stayed in the car because of the rain and the deed was done and the seed was sewn. It was cramped and a couple of cars went past which I suppose added to the excitement.

However by the time we had driven round for ages trying to find somewhere, it had killed any 'wow' factor.

On the positive side we have now found a good spot for future exploits!

Hang on, do you live in Manchester? Warn me next time you are feeling adventurous and I'll stay in :winkold:

    Don't worry. I don't live in Manchester

  4. Someone once told me, before you get married stick a pin in a pinboard everytime you have sex. Once your married, take a pin out everytime you have sex.

You will never remove all the pins.

My current GF told me that sex is good for headaches. She actually texted it to me so I have it in writing! No way she can say no now!!!!

  5. Like I said in the Terry thread, everybody is acting like kids in the playground, and social media are putting it in our faces.

It cannot be policed in any sensible way short of banning social media, which ain't gonna happen any time soon.

    I agree Mike.

This playground mentality is something which seems to have flooded in especially in the last 2 years. It seems harder to reason with people nowadays and every discussion seems to end with who or which group shouts the loudest. Cliques and groups seem to demand everyone to think the same and if someone doesn't they are derided.

I am worried social media will erode the ability for people to think for themselves.

  6. I'm not sure the timeline full of racism and abuse would have helped the kid's cause

Agreed. The kid is an idiot and an absolute waster.

I just think Daley could have handled himself better. I think he was well within his rights to RT the comment. But the stuff afterwards was uncomfortable to me.

  7. A 17 year old kid has been arrested for tweeting to Tom Daily that "You let your dad down i hope you know that."

WTF is going on at the moment when you have have the police banging on your door in the early hours and hauled down to the police station for saying that?

Isn't this the kind of stuff you read about in books about life behind the iron curtain?

I am not sure he got arrested for that. I think it was the death threat he sent after that something like "I'm gonna drown you" etc.

I had a heated debate on Twitter last night on this. The kid is obviously an idiot. But would the initial tweet have been highlighted if Daley was 23 stone and ugly?

I also didn't like the way Daley Retweeted a lot of abuse back at the kid. He used his image and fame to orchestrate and revenge bully a clearly idiotic 17 year old kid who tried to look hard.

I think Daley should have just have just been professional, kept his council and reported it to the proper authorities.

This kid may now get away with it because he could say he cracked because of the intense abuse he was receiving from a section of Daley's 600k+ followers.

  8. The frustrating part with Collins, is that on his day he is a very very good centre half.

Its just his last "day" was in January 2010!!

I also find it interesting that he cannot get in the Wales team at the minute.

  9. Why him playing will be a bonus, he'll be up for it no doubt however the amount of mistakes he makes for his positioning, but we will be playing a team of giants, a testing time on set pieces thats for sure!

EDIT: didn't see your other comment hahaha!

He maybe up for it. But the fact he turns like an oil tanker and has awful positioning when he comes up against pace means I will be delighted if he plays against us.

  10. I really hope we put one of these 'gentleman's agreements' in place that Clubs do when they buy a player from a club that they are due to play soon.

    James Collins MUST play!!!!

  11. As to hw much we are getting for him I don't know and to be brutally honest am not really interested enough in that to have asked the question. For me the important thing is he is leaving.

I'd like to see two or three more go as well and as with Collins would only be interested in them going. What we get for them , if anything, is a bonus and for others to worry about.

The details of the deal, well only a few people will know that and until it is confirmed publically I would not believe anyone who tells you exactly how much, how long or anything else as , as I have said, only a small number will be aware.

I can't believe someone is going to pay for him!!!
