To be honest I'd love a Lb, Cb, Cm, Wng, Cf. But the priority is Lb, Wng, Cf at the minute tbh.
Matty Phillips, Aaron Cresswell and Some like Jordan Rhodes/Guidetti/Charlie Austin and I'd be pretty happy for the start of the season! (Charlie Austin got 16 last season for Burnley, only 24 seems a good player from the games I've seen)
All of those players are unproven at this level. I think we need a couple of players of proven quality now. One in CM and another up front.

Yes, and I rather not have to go through it every day.
The burly sailors said the same thing!! :winkold:

Has he mentioned the triffic fan base yet?
If not.........he will.
And what is so remarkable about that? Considering the catchment area of the 'Second City' PL surely would not be mistaken in trying to harness that.
Agreed. Unlike a manager to praise the fans isn't it???!!!

Choose a martial art; i've been practising since I was a very little kid and at 34yrs now I still find this stuff inspirational.
Sure throughout life i've also had things that have held interest such as mountainbiking, the gym and playing a musical instrument (amongst others) but there is nothing that compares to mental, physical and spiritual benefits attributed to studying martial arts.
In my humble opinion of course...
I used to do Judo as a kid and really enjoyed it.
About a month ago I contacted the local leisure center/judo club, apparently they don't teach adults anymore. Which is a shame as by the time I finish work I cannot get to Manchester on time for the next nearest. Sad times.

Wow nice range chaps.
hogso that is particularly impressive. That must take a lot of skill and care. Something I am short on unfortunately.
Photography is a good one. I have done a bit of fishing previously and enjoyed it even though I caught nothing!!
Not a big fan of cycling and I find the gym dull.
It is really interesting to see what everyone does in their spare time.

Having reached the age of 30, I have decided to become pro-active in the pursuit of some type of activity that will arouse my interest sufficiently to stop me sitting on the sofa watching TV for the vast majority of my spare time.
Therefore, I am looking for ideas.
What do you guys & gals do? Do you have a hobby? if so, what?

League: 12th. Better season and seeing a bit more expansive football and a new mentality. Villa Park will be a tough place for opposing teams to come.
FA Cup: 4th Round
League Cup: 4th Round

I only have a casual interest in American football, what team would Villa be most like?
Villa are most like the Chicago Bears.
Storied history. Very succeessful at the birth of the league. Renaissance in the 80's where they won it all briefly. Then won nothing since.

Compare us to the Steelers again...
I dare ya.
Dante's right.
The Blues are more like the Ravens!!! :winkold:

Loving this. Sunderland fans are getting itchy!!!
George Caulkin @CaulkinTheTimes
O'Neill #Safc presser: bids in for players but "seems to have stalled on all fronts." Still hopes for additions before season starts.
-
Well I can explain the reasoning by the attitudes of Browns fans. They are basically the equivalent of Blue's fans if you compared them to Villa/Blues, and their rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers are like Villa..
Steelers win stuff though!
Steelers are more like Man Utd

Wow thanks for that tweet. I have now found his forum. He really seems an angry little man doesn't he?
Looks like attention seeking to me.
Must have been really hard to look at my signature then?
I find it hard enough to read your whinging posts, let alone your sig!!!
Yet you reply to each one.... well done Einstein
Yeah, you remind me of picking a scab. You know you shouldn't and it is unpleasant, but you still do it!

One was stats showing what a waste of money Lerners signing was (as Lerner signed him) the other sarcasm and a gif that is completely out of place as it shows Dr Banner realising his cure wont work.
and im a pessimist about villa yes, villa made me that way. Optimists are the ones I feel sorry for.

Looking at your Username and your previous post, you really seem to be the positive type who gets behind the team no matter what. Good for you!

I worked out on my blog that he has cost us around £1.785million for every competitive assist or goal.
Sell him.

You'd better smell your hand, just in case. If it smells like that ice that butcher's put around window-display haddock, then you never know.
A butcher selling fish!?!?
School boy error!
On who's part?
Gareth's!
Although I thought you would get excited by the words School boy! :winkold:

Lets see how Norwich do this year. Players have one off seasons eg Charlie Adam, Marcus Stewart, Kevin Doyle, DJ Campbell, Sasa Curcic etc.
Proven performers maintain their form over seasons. That is what we need.
I like PL's signings and I like the risk in some of these players but they will need help.
