Bobby Bobilla gets paid $1.19 million from the New York Mets every 1st of July since 2011, and will only finish in 2035 when he is 72. He played for them for 3 seasons and retired in 2001.

That is a bit of a special case though as the Mets owner was involved in the Bernie Madoff scandal and Bonilla and his agent had him over a barrell to get about 5x what he was owed by the Mets.

And how many did he miss the seasons before the two you've listed?

    Not a single game.

26 and has had three injuries in his career, all whilst playing for Bielsa who demands players sprint every minute of every game.

How reliable it is I'm not sure.

But if that price is true, Gerrard played a blinder by getting Coutinho to play shit on purpose for two months to drive the price down

I thought the same with Bournemouth given their big debts and small crowds and yet they have bounced back quite easily. We just made unbelievably hard work of it.

Bournemouth's debt was to their owner so would only be an issue if he decided to sell up or wanted to stop bankrolling them, Burnley's is to an investment company that included a clause which means they have to repay whatever remains of the £65m loan if they get relegated.

Burnley may have less debt than Bournemouth did, but Burnley's is a more immediate danger to the club.
