Likeable but crap player. The goal against Chelsea when he headed the ball onto his foot summed him up.
Good luck Trez, thanks for the goals and the occasional comedy moment!

It's a new card this season - it says so in the confirmation email:
However, this concerns me:
Has anyone's season ticket purchase been "confirmed"?
In previous years I have had to provide proof of student status for my lads so I’m expecting to have to do this again before the season starts.

Another £1570 to AVFC. I dread to think how much I’ve spent on tickets in the last 50 years

I was there for that one with my dad and he got tickets for the home end by mistake.
I'm not sure if anyone noticed us sneaking out when that penalty was given, but before it went in we were out the ground and half way to the car. I must have been about 12 or 13.
Being in close proximity to so many knuckledraggers was horrendous. Ugh. Unwashed vermin.
I first went to a SHA v Villa match at the Sty in the 70’s and sat in the railway end on more than one occasion - not sure if we were allocated it but seem to remember it being a mix. I was around 9 or 10 at the time and remember walking back to the car and having to dodge all the bricks and bottles being thrown at us.

Yep it’s amazing we are signing all these players from Liverpool.
I must’ve missed Kamara’s spell at Liverpool

Yes.
We'd be in the championship without him, possibly league 1 and possibly in financial ruin
I’d lay off the class A stuff if I was you

Looks like I’m in the minority as I really like the away kit.

Oh dear, Polly the Plank has written to Slo-Mo. Says he should stay and if he goes, she's going too.
Into the nearest cemetery hopefully.

After the way Moyes and the owners conducted themselves in the aftermath of Zouma’s appalling behaviour it great to see their season fizzle out.

I think tammy is better than both ings and watkins tbh.
Agree. Missed opportunity buying Watkins rather than Tammy.

Whilst we are 8 - 2 down in the 82nd minute, that will really show them....

That's hardly a mugging and "the greatest piece of business".
At most they slightly overpaid for one of the best players in the league (at the time)
If anything I think they underpaid for him given the fees other less gifted players are going for or being valued at.
City and the genius that is Pep are wasting his natural ability. That’s the reason why he’s having an average season.

Anyone who booed him yesterday should give their head a wobble. Cheering him going off the pitch was shameful.

Hopefully Leeds lose tonight which ramps up the pressure on them given their next 2 fixtures. I’d much rather them or Everton went down but I think we’ll do both of them a massive favour by taking 4 points off Burnley.

Only watched about 30 mins of the first half but the amount of times he's wide open 10 yards in front of a team mate showing for the ball and they completely ignore him is mad
At one point zinchenko was taking a throw in and jack made 3 runs, got open 3 times and still he ignored him before throwing it to a Liverpool player
As a side zinchenko could easily take throw ins for villa, he was terrible at them
Silva was guilty of ignoring JG on more than ine occasion, the earlier comment someone made about egos looks spot on to me.

We got hammered 4 nil and home and have lost 3 of our last 4 home games. Along with 17 defeats this season?
Did you expect us to be dancing with joy?
No but some of the reactions on here are ridiculous. I’m not dancing with joy but some posters really are wetting their pants.
And if you think 4-0 was a true reflection of the game then I’d suggest we watched a different game. -
Avoided this thread until now - fair to say the over reactions have surpassed my expectations.

I’m about to move house and instead of having SJM, Matt Targett and Kortney Hause as near neighbours I’ll have Lukas fooking Jutkiewicz in my road.
Another unforeseen cost of divorce!

It was a shit show yesterday, spat at from the 6 fingered toe rags sitting above us and then a broken down train completed a day of misery.
Losing Digne so early disrupted us, no width on the left and blunted us going forward. Watkins could’ve rescued at least a point yesterday regardless of whether we deserved it or not, Ings finishes at least one of those chances.
I’m saving judgement of SG until we have a proper CDM and a better back up left back.

Really sad news about JD. I can still remember the cup semi final at Highbury when he scored a couple against QPR.
