You've obviously seen a lot of Adams then? He seems to get a good press. Why would you be so against him?

We already have better than Adams. My pal is a Leeds STH and his opinion is that he flatters to deceive.

So if you could get, say, £80m for Kamara and £10m for Dendonker and replace the two with Tyler Adams and Amrabat for a combined £50m to £60m, leaving you £30m to put in to a top left winger would you consider that?

    No no and no again.

    Bournemouth are welcome to Adams.

  3. If something has popped in the back of his knee then it’s more likely to be his PCL. I sincerely hope that isn’t the case because it’s a lot worse than an ACL injury.

The thing that worried me was Emery said 'we'll send him for the scan tomorrow', not sure if choice of words but I would hope we have a specialist(s) on retainer and get it scanned and being treated and iced etc literally as soon as possible surely waiting till the next day could have a very adverse effect?

Having done my cruciate 3 times from experience there’s no point in having a scan for at least 24 hours due to the swelling in the knee.
Waiting until tomorrow won’t make any difference to any operation and rehab programme.

  5. As Ty was being stretchered off, the chant “he’s here, he’s there” was being sung by the fans. An utter toe rag in the row behind me thought it appropriate to comment “well he wasn’t for the 2nd goal”.
Same idiot slagged off Diaby for putting his effort into the side netting later on.
I despair at some of our so called fans at times, I wish they’d crawl back under the particular rock they came from.

It may or may not work for him, but people are slightly downplaying quite what he did at Bournemouth. He did a fantastic job there and they were nowhere near relegation. Almost everyone had them as dead certs. Yet from a points perspective he essentially got them to midtable.

Will be interesting to see how he fares if he can’t spend any money.

I think he’s a better coach than we give him credit for.

Still hoping they drop along with Luton and Bournemouth.

I don't think it is. it certainly sounded like 10% of overall tickets as i made a point to say that i was really interested in away tickets.

If that’s true then that’s 130 tickets for Bournemouth which means 130 fans that like me attended every away game last season potentially misses out to a new STH.

Makes a mockery of the whole system.

I’d imagine that most top class professional players would still value individual development, competitive pride and personal achievement over excessive financial gain.

Unless your name is Ruben Neves

  9. It’s the consequences of generations of inbreeding along with decades of glue sniffing. Psychotic thoughts that one day SHA may actually play top level football again.

They are in the same hotel as me in Portugal (I booked with Jet2, so they must be skint). If it didn’t involve waking me up as well, I’d be setting the fire alarm off to disturb their sleep

Thankfully not in the same resort as we are however we had the misfortune of bumping into Dermot I’Leary and his mates on a beach a couple of days ago.

The Spanish also do bull fighting and stabbing the bulls with spears and stuff… I also think that’s detestable

Slightly off topic but whole heartedly agree. Abhorrent tradition.

Seems like a throughly decent bloke who has done the right thing in praising so diversity and protecting the likes of Saka. As a coach?! The ultimate yes man and a terrible appointment. Never had greater opportunities to win big but so tactically inept he failed again and again. Sucked the life of any minute interest I had in watching England play.

Perfectly summed up. With the talent he’s had available he’s underperformed in the last 2 major tournaments.

Kalvin Philips is a never been who doesn’t even play club football

I’ll never forget how Jack got continually overlooked as a Villa player in incredible form.

    Absolutely laughable.

Saw a stat that last season Philips played more minutes for England than he did for Ci£eh.

Big nose is an absolute fraud
