  1. Today was a potential banana skin after 120 mins on Thursday, injuries and suspensions. Despite going a goal behind we’ve come away with 3 deserved points and hopefully no new injuries.

I think pre the Arsenal game we would all have been happy with 4 points so to get 6 is fantastic.

    In Unai we trust UTV

Great performance that, I'm going Tielemans MOTM, don't think he put a foot wrong.

Very close behind was Rogers and Konsa.

As for Ollie, i have no idea how he didn't score. I'd put his name down before Kane.

I also voted Tielemans with Ezri, Morgan and Ollie very closely behind.

You just know Boregate will pick Rashford over Ollie.

Ollie is a machine, absolute athlete that has improved under Unai. Speaks volumes when Shearer eulogises about him.

  3. Apparently just 6 tickets went on sale at 4pm and I know of STH’s that had a ticket in the basket but couldn’t proceed with the purchase because of an error message.

Luckily we’ve got tickets but I know a lot of mates have been left disappointed.

I travelled to and from the game with a Man Utd supporting friend and his son, they thought the atmosphere in the second half was amazing (his son said it was the best he'd heard), and they said that facilities were on a par with what they get at Old Trafford. I was very surprised to learn that they also struggle to get a drink and food at half time and have similar issues with the lack of space (they were in with the away fans and so comparing the Doug Ellis with their ground)

Old Trafford is a decaying stadium that is desperately in need of an upgrade so it’s not a great barometer to judge our current facilities by.

This is definitely a plan the club have, and from my limited understanding these events are really lucrative. I think they'd want to do even more but it has impacts on the pitch.

We’d better make hay while the sun shines then as according to the deluded great unwashed in B9 they’ll be building a 60,000 multi use super arena for concerts as well as top flight European football😀

  6. According to his mrs Ozzy is performing a couple of farewell gigs at VP so maybe it’s the start of VP holding regular events such as Ozzy and the Foos.
It would be interesting to know how much of a money spinner staging a concert is.

Something’s up with Trippier I think, no idea what it is but a while back I think Southgate alluded to him not being in the best place mentally and then Howe said something similar and about how he’s ‘pushing through’ (paraphrased) some off-field stuff, this has all coincided with his form nose-diving and now him potentially leaving the country 🧐

    He was caught playing away👍

His missus is from Solihull I think so guess it's one of those get into your 30s (I still have him down as a promising 22 year old!) and find a local team to save time on the commute and spend more time with the family.

Don't think he gets in their starting 11 with Diangana back on form lately but he'll be a decent option off the bench.

He lives in Dorridge, has done since his Villa days.

It’s a shame he’s signed for Sandwell Town, I’ve always wanted him to be be successful wherever he played with the exception of the Dingles and now Sandwell Town.

Strange, I thought he was decent. Held it well and the better of their centre backs. The service to him was just poor.

Agree. From my position in the lower tier I thought he stood up to the physicality of that thug Tarkowski and had the better of him. Just a shame the ref allowed their centre halves to kick lumps out of him for 90+ mins

He also said he believed in the project here…

And he also said signing for Man City was a dream come true…

so, frankly, whatever bollocks comes cascading out of that pricks mouth (or that of his father and the rest of his family) I wouldn’t take any notice of…

  12. My brother got married that day and we managed to get the hotel to show the game during the reception. My brother was livid that most of the male guests watched the game whilst the females danced round their handbags in an otherwise half empty room.
