AndyM3000
Some of you seem to have a way with finding cheap train prices, if you get a good deal can you please post it here. You can go to Southampton direct from Birmingham but its £75 open return. Two singles is still around £50. Thanks.
hogso
My ticket for this was £50. There was a cheaper one for ~£45, but that was via London inc. tube. No **** chance. So I'm going via Cov on the Bournemouth train instead. That is with a railcard though. London Midland usually have their summer 1/2 price promotion during September, so if that happens, some, if not all, of the journey would be cheaper. I suppose it may not be on this year due to the Olympics though, I doubt they'd want to do themselves out of pocket when theyre expecting more train users.
