SouthBirminghamVilla Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Going to the game on Saturday. From memory, the majority of pubs in Wolverhampton do not admit away fans. A couple of times I have had a beer in Birmingham and then caught the train. Anyone know of any pubs in Wolverhampton that let away fans in? Cheers
supertom46 Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 The Walkabout in Wolverhampton will be the only pub accepting Away Fans. Think me and the 3 I'm going with will stick to town.
SouthBirminghamVilla Posted January 17, 2012 Author Posted January 17, 2012 I think I will have a beer in Birmingham and then catch the train. Having a beer in Wolverhampton seems a pain. If I catch a train about 2.00pm I think that should allow enough time.
slowandlow Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 also drinking in town, then catch the tram/train between 1.30 and 2
supertom46 Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 I agree with it seeming a bit of a pain. Think we'll just cut the cost and get a train about 2 as well, have a couple of cans on there.
SouthBirminghamVilla Posted January 19, 2012 Author Posted January 19, 2012 I agree with it seeming a bit of a pain. Think we'll just cut the cost and get a train about 2 as well, have a couple of cans on there.
wedge Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 The Walkabout on Queen Street is the away pub and the only pub in Wolverhampton that will admit away supporters on Saturday, according to West Midlands Police.
SouthBirminghamVilla Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 what pubs post match to celebrate the win?
VillaAndLoyal Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Three of us landing in the Walkabout at about half 12. C'mon the Villa boys!
