He comes across as a standard Dublin scummer with a thin veneer of humour that quickly goes away when he gets defensive, which itself happens all too quickly. He can't accept questions that aren't complimentary without lashing out. He comes across as the kind of guy people often describe as 'salt of the earth' which I infer to mean scumbag who'd fleece you at the first opportunity.
