trekka Posted April 25, 2011 VT Supporter Share Posted April 25, 2011 Hi all, It's been a while I'm borrowing my old mans camper van in about a week and seeing as I've done the Yorkshire Dales to death, I thought I would go and see what it's like over the other side. Anyone know of any nice beauty spots or walks? The plan is to make my way up the coast and then cut in through the National Park. Cheers everso
villaajax
You're not just trying to get a list of popular places to avoid burying bodies are you?

dAVe80
Sorry, just re-read your post, and both places I mentioned are in the Dales.
drat01
On the coast Whitby is OK, Robin Hoods Bay is good, if it's not too busy Lots of nice little villages, but the people are Yorkshire folk who have their own "ways" :-)
dAVe80
Filey is a nice little town on that coast actually. Mind I've not been for about 10 years or so, so it could have been turned into a donkey riding, amusement arcade, kiss me quick hell in that time I suppose. trekka Posted April 28, 2011 Author VT Supporter Share Posted April 28, 2011 Cheers. I intend on spending tomorrow trying to plot a route! I'm thinking that I'll no doubt end up in the Dales again after too (I love that place with a passion) - I have about 10 days
