Turkey psn ?

I've been using the turkish psn for a year or so, the crash in turkish lira has made digital games purchasing worth while.

You can sign up to the turkish one and any game you buy will link in with your uk account if both accounts are on your ps5

Especially when they misprice games which for pre orders happens a fair bit ( new assasons creed was 599 lira so around 19 quid)

Anyone else using a turkish psn alongside their UK one ?

You need to spoof IP address for that?

Nope it's all very simple, I have a UK account and signed up ro a turkish one using a turkish hotel address.

Once you have the turkish psn account you can buy games on the turkish psn. On my ps5 I activated game share and any game I buy and dl on the turkish one plays on my uk one.

Spiderman 2 cost 23 quid pre order

You need to sign up to a virtual credit card called crypto.com its not a credit card its a top up facility but I think its now the only non turkey payment method.

If people are interested I can post a guide how to do it all ?

Just psn. Xbox used to be able to vpn the game pass and xbox credit vouchers from Brazil as that was the cheapest when I did the kids  but not used xbox for 3 years or so, so not sure what people use for that ?

Can you use revolut?

No

firstly creat a turkish psn account

Do not use an email address already linked to an account. Creat a new Hotmail one.

Go to create account on your ps4/5

Put turkey as your region

Google a hotel in Turkey and use that as your address ( photo your chosen address and make sure you input correctly)

Once you have created the new psn account you need to apply for a crypto.com credit card  (its a top up card no credit or credit score)

I've copied the guide from elsewhere

CRYPTO.COM * VIRTUAL VISA

1) Sign up for an account via the CRYPTO.COM * iOS / Android app, you will need to provide a photograph of your ID e.g. a driving licence along with a selfie in line with their customer onboarding, KYC and anti-money laundering procedures.

2) Once your account is open, proceed to order one of their Visa debit cards. NOTE - It is recommended you opt for the 'Midnight Blue' Card as this does not require a CRO stake balance to apply for the card. NOTE - Initially, this is a physical card application and you will be required to complete additional address verification via the app. Once your card request is approved, you will be able to view a Virtual Visa version of the card via the app. NOTE - Once you have your virtual visa card, please click 'Enable International Usage' in the app.

3) Top-Up the virtual visa card via the CRYPTO.COM * app. NOTE - The only option is to load the card via a debit or credit card payment e.g. from your regular bank. The minimum top up is £20. Please note that Crypto.com * Virtual Visa cards are now subject to a 1% loading fee. NOTE -  it is recommended that you carefully calculate the total cost of your PSN purchase and then Top-Up the card accordingly. From my own testing CRYPTO.COM * appear to be using a very similar currency conversion rate to that used on the Google Currency Converter.
google.com/search?q=google+currency+converter *

Add an extra quid to your top up as if it's dlightpy under it says the card doesn't work. It does you haven't got enough on the card.

On your ps5 select game share and that's it.

You can then log into your turkey account on your console and buy games waaay cheaper. Dl the game to your turkey account and it auto will show on your uk account and be fully playable.

Some games the dlc won't work ( rare) you need to check the psn game ID code and if the uk version is the same as the turkish version dlc will work.

Spiderman 2 is 799 turkish lira, it's around £1 for 34.5 TL at the mo ( was 35.4 other week) so that's around 23.16 at the mo.

I've bought several games waaay cheaper, EA games however are now double what they were 7 months ago so no bargains there.
