  1. Goldberg, Nick Mondo, Doink the Clown, Perry Saturn, AmDrag, Eugene, Mohammed Hassan, Nova/Simon Dean, Mike Awesome. The Best of the Best.

I saw the promo for Awesome Kong on Raw last night, looks like they're going to give her a 'deranged' angle...rubbish, they should team her up with Miz and make her what Chyna was for DX :D

  2. New Jack was so awesome. When his music hit and carried on playing for the whole match...fantastic. His matches in ECW were hilarious as he always brought crazy weapons to the match, I have the PPV on DVD when he teamed with Balls & Axl against the Baldies and used everything from a hoover to an NES :D and then jumped off a basketball board. No doubt he was a loose cannon though. I just read his wiki and it says he was at the Wrestlemania the other week signing autographs, and theres a call sign in COD named in his honour!

Sexxxy Eddy squirting his own blood into his mouth from a very nasty cut on his arm at one of the early CZW Tournament of Death's is probably the most disturbing thing I've ever seen in a wrestling ring though. Oh and there was that time in an IWA-MS match when Necro Butcher nearly DIED after he tore half his arm off :puke:

And on WWE is Jericho due back anytime soon? Would be nice to see him return as face a 'replacement' for Edge

  3. Best shoot was New Jack supposedly trying to kill Vic Grimes in a scaffold match - he threw him from 40ft up and he missed the tables in the ring, hitting the rope instead. He only broke his ankle in the end, I think...wasn't in WWE though. Have they ever worked a scaffold match? I remember Shane O'Mac jumping off the top of the titantron once.

Matt Hardy interrupting in a match after it emerged Edge had been porking Lita a few years back was legit too, wasn't it? Then they re-hired him.

I watched some vids on youtube recently called most painful moments and botches, some of the stuff was hilarious. Edge and Batista going for a spear at the same time and Batista gets busted open. And the time when Paul London accidentally landed on the turnbuckle wrong and got cut up horribly, was a great crimson mask! There was a Hardcore Holly video on that, maych I hadn't seen from when they resurrected ECW. He suplexed RVD from in the ring out onto a table and got a nasssssty cut on his back. It was CZW worthy :D

  4. he's basically been wrestling on borrowed time since and it has finally caught up with him.

Didn't they say this about Angle 5-ish years ago? That mightve even been part of the reason why WWE let him go, I can't exactly rememeber.

  5. First away game I went to was against Cov...in the Cov end. My cousin took me, think it was 99, so I wouldve been 13. A cold midweek evening it was. We were sat behind the goal and Dion scored in front of us in the first half, the Cov fans went berserk :D They ended up winning 2-1 though.

I've had alot of hostility from Cov fans in recent years, but I can understand that really as we sent them down. They've got the legion though who will seek out trouble with anyone, on the FA Cup day we played Blackburn this season and they were playing SHA I bumped into a bunch of them on the train, and they were expecting a scrap with them. Talked that up like it was a derby aswell.

Leicester is there derby now though, and they really do hate each other. Only other one they have is the annual friendly against Nuneaton which can get pretty tasty believe it or not!

  6. It was a great match in the late 90s in the PL when there were no derby's against Small Heath, Baggies or Wolves. Being from close by to Cov it's very significant to me as alot of my family are Cov fans, so that helps too. It's a cracking derby for me, but would totally understand alot of Villa fans not really being bothered with them anymore

  7. Was having some fun riding around on the 4 Horses of the Apocalypse in Undead Nightmare, only to find that the, uh, on fire one dies horribly easily. It slid (literally) down a tiny ledge and then just keeled over and died! His flames went out and everything, pretty shitty thing to do, here I was thinking it was undead.

After I completed it, I decided I'd go and have a look to see if I could get revenge on the law. I read in the newspaper that the guy that killed me, w/e his name was, had retired and moved to a small house near a lake. I went to that house and found noone :(

There arent any follow on mission for the guys son to do are there?

You're missing something here. There is a very significant mission in the epilogue after you read that newspaper. If memory serves, go to the (I think) train platform in Blackwater

  8. I think I was the only person with a scarf where I was sitting, the crowd wasn't that vocal where I was sitting either, I started shouting at the players to push up the field and one guy in front of me covered his ears....Can't believe some people it was like they were out for a quiet Sunday afternoon.

    Hahaha! Where were you sitting?

Atmosphere was cracking at times today, the place was rocking at the start of the game. The lower North Stand was best it's been all season aswell, hope the supporters in there can keep it up!

  9. Confirmation - no trains to/from Aston OR Witton at all on Sunday

Please note that on Sunday 10 April we will again be operating a very limited service - although significantly better than in previous weeks - with trains only running on the following routes due to a shortage of drivers willing to work:

    Northampton to London Euston

Blake Street to Redditch via Birmingham

    Stourbridge Town to Stourbridge Junction

    Worcester to Birmingham Snow Hill

    Crewe to Liverpool

  10. Just got back in, and th old adage 'I woulve taken a point before he game is certainly true. We embarrassed their fans aswell, they were as bad as I had be told.

Anyone know why 5 or 6 of our fans were kicked out from near the corner? The usual banter was going on, then the Everton fans got really upset about something, and you could see them talking to stewrds and pointing out a few Villa fans. Minutes later said stewards were dragging out a whole bunch of our fans. Apart from the goal that was by far the loudest their fans go.

Sham other results didn't go our way, so for that thepoint is a bit dissappointing considering we were leading

EDIT: goddaman typing on an internt TV is hard work..you'll have to excuse the mistake

  11. Saw Source Code as night...expected a bit more than just a cross between Quantum Leap, The Matrix, and Back to the Future. The love story was weak and unengaging, and the 'twist' (I use the term very lightly) at the end left you with feeling of 'oh ok' rather than 'OH WOW'. It was shot brilliantly though, and the mystery of what was actually going on did enough (barely) to get you through to the end. Why don't we have those double decker trains here? Very cool. The film not so. 6/10

The new trailer for Super 8 was just fantastic though. Looks to me like the ET for the 21st century, and not just cos is Amblin (~:

  12. Cheers pal.

On the rail planner thing, its got me changing at moorfields getting onto that Liverpool central to kirkdale but getting off at sandhills for the bus. I wonder if I can buy the bus ticket at moorfields.

Last time I went you could buy the soccer bus ticket at Lime Street station, when you're buying your Mersey Rail ticket instead of saying return to Sandhills say return to Goodison Park that includes bus ticket and I think it's a bit cheaper.

Spot on. I'm going up tomorrow morning (used to live in Liverpool, lots of old uni mates up there so any excuse for a weekend there!) my return ticket only cost £9.90! I'll be getting the train from Central to Sandhills and then the Soccer Bus to the ground on saturday too...not too sure about getting back, I guess it's a metter of sticking around for a bus back to Sandhills, as the walk is too much

  13. The last piece of DLC 'Arrival' is out. Anyone played it yet? Does it bridge the gap between ME2 and 3 as people hoped it would? It's downloading while I'm at work, so will try it out later...

  14. Saw Herzog's new 3D docu 'Cave of Forgotten Dreams' last week. Highly recommended to any fan, epecially those who enjoyed Grizzly Man and Encounters... , it forms something of an unofficial 'nature & philosophy' trilogy with those two. There was a Q&A with him afterwards too, he's a very charming and engaging man. His next is going to be a docu following inmates on death row in their final months, weeks, and (literally) minutes. Fantastic!! He's also going to be lending himself & his voice to The Simpsons for an upcoming episode :D

Also got dragged along to Norwiegan Wood. I enjoyed it as a fan of Japanese drama, hadn't read the book though which is apparently every artsy girls wet dream. It was a very pretty film, but the story was let down simply due to the pacing of it. Not that I thought it was awfully slow, I love the way the Japanese seem to convey so much emotion in those long extended scenes with no dialogue at all. It seems to be a very telling feature in their greatest exports.

I've got a choice of Metropolis, Paprika, or Vampire Hunter D (1+2) for tonight :D

Paprika is superb. One of my favourite animes alongside FLCL and Eva
