Its never going to happen though. Clubs have invested heavily in CCTV to look at all areas of the crowd, and the Police are big fans of this. If standing was to come back, then the CCTV which gives clubs such control and security would be redundant, because getting lost in the crowd so easily.

I know a lot of Chelsea fans through work, including several season ticket holders. They all seem to think that Terry will be their player of the year. I cant say as i disagree with them. It is the most difficult year in ages to pick this time around. Lampard has been superb for club and country, and Thierry Henry, who no one thinks has a chance, has scored 30 times in 41 games for the Gooners this season. Sensational stuff. Still think Terry will win it, but personally, i would want Lampard to. Young player will be just as tough, but i think thats between Defoe and Robben. When was the last time the Villa had player nominated? I know McGrath (who else?) was the last time we had someone win it, in 1992/93.

If this from the official site is to be belived, anyway: As for Earnshaw, i heard that Adrian Chiles bloke (The Baggies fan who presents MotD2 for the BBC) talking about the lightbulb shaped headed striker on 606 to another Baggies fan who doesnt understand why Earnshaw doesnt start regularly for WBA, especially given his recent goalscoring from. What Adrian Chiles said in reply was very interesting. He sees pretty much every WBA game home and away, or via the BBC's internal live streams when he cant make the game due to work commitments, so i feel he is qualified to talk. He is of the opinion that Rob Earnshaw is the single most weird player he has ever seen. A real Jekyll and Hyde character. In the area, as a finisher, the guy is a different class. As good as anybody. A top striker who you really do think will take most of his chances. Outside the area, in his general play, he really is quite awful. He just isnt a very good footballer, and doesnt contribute to the team. He cant pass, or tackle to the required standard. He is just an out and out finisher. Still, he is only 22/23 years old, so the rest of his game has still got time to develop, but when West Brom fans dont think he is good enough to start regularly in a team who are desperate for goals, and only think he should come on as a substitute when the Baggies really need him, i dont fell a club that are (or should be, at least) aiming for Europe every season will be going in for him.

Mellberg doesnt seem to be playing on his own for us anymore, certainly, and we seem to be doing less desperate defending (where Ollie shined) under O'Leary than we did under GT and towards the end of JG. I dont think Ollie has had his best season for us this time, but it would be nice for him to actually have a settled partner! Barry, despite showing flashes of form and ability from time to time, is a shadow of the player he was a couple of years ago.

I would say Hendrie. Delaney has hardly played (again) We all knew Nobby was class. He just took a while to settle in. Joining a club mid season can do that, i guess. McCann has probably had his best season for us, but was always a good player anyway. Henrdrie has showed the sort of form we havent seen since the days when he first broke into the team. Barry is still a shadow of the player he was two or three years ago.

Not will they be banned during the semi, or what punishment will the FA dish out, but if the fight hadnt been split, who would have won?

Xbox controller S's are fantastic. They just feel of a much higher quality than the PS2 dualshock. Love the longer cables, and the anti trip feature on the wire too. The best controller in my opinion is the Gamecube one though. The anologue feels so much better than anything else (and particularly better than the flappy dualshock) and its just so comfortable to hold. The cable is very short though. Im thinking that all the next generation machines will have wireless conrollers as standard next time, and Sony will FINALLY put more than two controller ports on the front of their machine..

You can, but some of the newer games check your hard drive apparently. You certainly cant play hooky games on Live.

The one bastard thing is that using modded Xboxes on Xbox live is a right bastard. One of my fave things about the Xbox is the online element.
