  1. Doing someone over like that really is satisfying.

My best one is still when i saved that Warlock from the Warrior in Ferelas. Same sort of thing as you really Ris, but the Warrior was still fighting the Warlock when i stepped in. And you know when you really really want your opening attack to crit? Well, i did that time, and my prayers were truly answered.

Its the whole idea that there is this massive, massive world going on around you, and you can mess with it as you chose that is the charm. And that the people you are **** with arent controlled by the computer, but are real human beings. Getting one over on them can be massively satisfying.

  2. Im not migrating.

I know far too many people on the server now. It would really suck being on a different one where you dont know anybody. Full servers are better anyway. Auction House has more customers. More level 60's for the big 40 man instance runs at the end of the game. More Ally to fight (and actually, the Alliance-Horde ratio isnt too bad on this server. Others are a lot more weighted in the Alliance favour because they are full of 14 year old kids who thing they are plying Lord of the Rings, which the Alliance side basically is..) I can take a 10 minute queue for that. If i fire the game up and there is a queue, ill just alt-tab out while the game is on the queue screen, and do something else for a few minutes.

  3. Chairman Miow with Limited training is almost up to speed now and is much better now I've got rid of the daft Cower spell (a spell that makes his opponent attack me - wtf is that about), hes upto lvl 30 already and I doubt it'll take me more than an hour to get him up to 31-32 if tonight is anything to go by

Next off goldielocks is going down to the woods to nab himself a bear to play tanks are us

    Thats a good thing.

It means that Chairman Meow can give out shitloads of damage. Thats his job. Take it of autocast, and just get him to use it when he is hurt.

But if you have a warrior with you, or dont mind tanking yourself, the Cower spell will make your damage output in a fight increase.

  4. The Tabard is for sale in all major cities.

In Orgrimmar, its just over the rope bridge from the flight tower, Undercity and Thunder Bluff, youd have to ask when you are there.

The 25 kills in a week thing is a Wednesday-Wednesday cycle. IE, between maintainance loops. Say if you killed 25 alliance tonight, you would get your scout status next time after maintaince.

Just join Warsong Gulch. Its a 10 on 10 capture the flag battle, and easy to get your kills in. Its great fun too. If you form a group of 3 or 4, you shouldnt have to queue too long. Just go to the portal in Orgrimmar when you log in, and join the queue. You can then quest as normal, and will be asked if you want to be teleported into the Battle Ground when its your turn.

  5. To get to scout, you just need 25 kills in a week.

Then you get to buy he Horde tabard, which is smart as ****.

I like it so much, i turned my cape off so you can see it from both side (you can turn your cape and hat off in the menu if you press escape. You still get the buffs, the game doesnt show them on your character..)

Of course, there are PvP rewards. As you get a rank, you get some kick ass weapons available to buy, and you get discounts on stuff to buy. It might be worth befrending a high PvP rank player now Riss and TRL, and seeing if he can get a discount on the mount for you. He probably can.

Oh, and this is a great guide to the rewards of PvP

The fantasitic thing about WoW is that it works on so many levels. You could completely ignore the PvP side of it, and still never run out of things to do. You could just hammer PvP for weeks, and not really worry about not questing and levelling, cos PvP can be great fun.

  6. Badlands is funny when there is a Horde MC raid.

They always meet at the camp in Badlands.

Oh, and MC? Its Moltern Core. The big endgame instance. You need fourty (yes 40!) level 60 players to do it.

And some of those dont mind kicking the shit out of the ally near our camp in Badlands.

  7. there are two sorts of trade.

Gathering, and production. Some gathering trades compliment other production trades. Herbalism/Alchemy, Skinning/Leatherworking, Mining/Blacksmithig or Engineering.

You can go for two gathering trades, to make money, or use one to make yourself stuff. Tailoring makes cloth armour, which you can wear, but in my experience, its easier and cheaper just to ask a freindly player who is a tailor to make anything you might need than skilling up yourself. As a magic user, id suggest you follow TRL, and go with Herbalism/Alchemy. I wish id picked that myself (im skinning tailoring) but i cant be arsed to retrain now ive gone so far down the road ive chose.

I will say learn first aid, and keep it maxed as far as your level will allow.

It will save you from dying. Its saved me loads.

Oh, and dead level 60 alliance PvP specialist anyone?

    sweetkill7uk.jpg

    Have some of that!

  8. All this armour is making me jealous. Im stuck wearing cloth forever.

Still, the upside of it is that no matter what you are wearing, whether its cloth, leather, mail or plate, my spells hit you as hard. Armour has no effect on magical damage!

  9. Conjoured items disapear 15 minutes after logging off.

So Mages food and water, and Warlocks Healthstones and Soulstones need to be made every time a player logs in.

this is why i just go if im going to be off for a little while and im carrying conjoured items. If im off for the night, ill always give any Healthstone and Soulstone i have to someone in Orgrimmar.

  10. I like skinning. Im 300/300, so i basically get heavy and thick leather off of everything i skin, and as TRL said, skinners can grind and kill and skin for cash and XP.

Ive said in game though, herbalism and alchemy might be the way for you to go though. I cant see the point in being an Enchanter if Sie and Risso already are. You can get friend prices off them now, and at later levels all you will be doing is competing with them financially for the same sales. Treading on other peoples toes isnt a good thing when there are other trades out there that no one has touched yet.

Herbalism, you get to kill stuff that is protecting the herb for XP, then alchemy, you can make all kinds of fantastic things. health potions, mana potions, intant rage potions, potions that make your attcking spells more poweful, or act as buffs and stuff. Id imagine these get snapped up in the auction house all the time, as well as being able to sell them to your friends. At endgame levels, during the 40 man instance runs and raids on Moltern Core, Onyxias Lair, and ZG, everyone wants to be as powerful as absolutely possible, which would mean drinking potitons.

Im guessing being able to make them would make you rich and popular.

  11. Always carry Mana potions on you Risso!

I had a couple, but you can only drink one in a certain amount of time. Where can you buy mana potions from by the way?

I always carry a stack of about 40 water on me which i have bought from the inkeeper, and probably 5-10 mana potions (which are always availiable in the auction house, or which you can make with Herbalism/Alchemy, a profession combo which im seriously considering switching to)

I also ask Mages for water (they can make food too, but with undead cannibalise, warlock healthstones and first aid, i find that water is more useful to me, so i dont use my favours up by asking for food. Melee classes should ask a friendly mage for food though) and try to drink the Mage water before i drink my own which i paid for. The differences being that Mage water is free, but it disapears when you log out. So you use theirs when you can, and yours when you need to.
