  1. Terrible terrible luck for both players. Taylor because he went full pelt for the ball and caught Coleman in the wrong place, and Coleman for obvious reasons.

Not trying to defend Taylor and pretend he did nothing wrong. It was not a good tackle - sounds like he was completely devastated and it doesn't sound like there was malice in the tackle. Just trying to be objective in that we see lots of tackles like that that sometimes people get away with it, but I think the after effect makes it worse.

Best wishes to Coleman though, devastated for him

  2. Impressed with him - his footballing brain seems to be ahead of the others. Quite a few times in the games I've seen him he was screaming for the ball to be played into the left hand channel behind the defence for him to run onto. But us being us it went backwards/sideways/into our own net

  3. Just got back. Absolutely delighted. Although could have been a different story had it finished 1-1 - glad Bruce made the changes when he did although it is painful watching us clear corner after corner with no-one left up to at least challenge for the ball. Also frustrating when they knocked it back to their keeper and our players weren't really making an effort to get to him and put him under pressure - although the couple of times they did he shanked his kicks.

My MOTM was Bacuna - I was ready to pitchfork him and throw him out the club last season but he really put in a shift and was unlucky not to score from the FK.

i know it's already been said but the fans were incredible tonight and I'm so proud to have been a part of that.

if ref saw incident then I dont think he can be charged, especially if he gave out cards at time

Will depend what was in his report but you would expect if he saw it there would have been sanctions at the time. My first instinct was that he didn't see it as if he did it would have been a straight red, and deservedly so.

On another note how many chances has he got left? SB needs to get hold of him and get the penny to drop that he is a professional footballer and should be acting like one.

Oh and someone buy him a pair of adult shinpads and adult socks.

We need a passionate manager, someone that goes berserk from the sidelines and goes crazy when we score. RDM was too calm and composed and looked abit weak unfortunately

    Is that you Mr Sherwood?

A friend of mine is a Barnsley fan - his brother was at the game (also a Barnsley fan) and this was his impression:

"they have some players who are too good for teams like us. Adomah, Kodija. Jedinak is by far the best mopper-upper in the league and generally an absolute beast. They will kick into gear and start hammering people soon. Grealish should really focus on being good at football and stop moaning. They are fast and powerful, shaky at the back, no confidence"

He also said they switched from 442 to 451, scored and then switched back. First time they'd changed formations in a game for 9 months
