We need 3 points in these games, had all the running for the last 25 minutes and needed something different up top but kept Rudy on, who to his credit did a lot better in the second half then the first but it was all just a bit too static up top. Quite hard NOT to give that as a penalty. He moved towards the ball, raised his arm and brought it under control. Not sure how happy anyone would have been if that had happened yesterday with a QPR defender and we hadn't got a pen. Apart from the fact that Fletcher (the player putting Bassong under pressure in that gif) is offside as the ball comes in and influences how the defender is going to play the ball out, so it should of been an offside call and not a penalty, poor call.

Did you think TDK was good? I loved TDK just felt that it's a stiff watch as a stand alone movie really and it shows it's length in parts, the boat's sequence in particular is a pain, in my opinion.

Just got back in from watching it, I was impressed, does not feel long at all, much more watchable all the way through then TDK in my opinion. That's all I will say until everyone else has had a chance to watch it.

Well the players in the A-League sure look sharp The tackle at 25 seconds where the brisbane player (Orange kit) breaks through and has an air swing..was given a penalty...in the 94th minute..the penalty was the last kick of the game and won them the competition..think that sums up the A-league nicely.

Bunch of keyboard warriors saying that Chelsea didn't deserve to win, they rode their luck alot in their games but none of the teams were good enough to put them away, they were put out the most effective way to operate in the game/s and it has won them the top honor in Europe. I've watched us (Villa) put out in a much more negative fashion for 38 games this season, so if Chelsea 'deserve' to lose then we should rightfully be playing in the championship the coming season season yes? The people with their heads shoved up their own behinds with the holier-than-thou bs about not loving the club if you don't watch this game are wank, I will be up at 4am watching Villa and recording the champions league game to watch promptly after our game, but how others spend their time is their own business, I know which game i would rather watch to be honest. The fact is this game should have been an easy record and watch later after enjoying a champions league semi final, meaning we should be at least mid-table treading water with the game having no real bearing on the Villas fate, but as it stands it's a 'massive' game because of the running joke the higher ups have watching McDouche do his best to bury us and i can understand why people wouldn't want to watch us cause of the manner in which we got ourselves in this hole.

I did not watch this game, I have watched almost every game live for the last 5-6 years (Australia only started getting full Premier League coverage around this time). Up till all hours 12-6am in the morning depending on kick-offs here in Australia, I was up at 12:30am this morning with a 1am kick-off and thought my time would be better spent getting the shut eye and awakening to the inevitable United _____ Villa to maintain advantage headline. The blank being either A)Ease past or B)Thump. I woke at 5am feelin a little guilty at passing up the chance to watch the lads go around and got my phone and fumbled to eurosport to find thumped and happily went back to sleep glad i took the chance to get a couple of hours. I woke and watched the replay, glad to see the whole team followed my example and got a few hours in as well. I could care less about injuries we've had it before and the team has turned up, this is a rabble, almost refuse to watch us play the top half of the league for the fear we will roll over at their 'elite' status..sad to say it after reading it so much in these threads and trying to keep positive but McLeish is a vortex of good intentions, football and brain cells it seems. I love this club with all my soul but for the club as a whole to accept what is happening here and the manner in which it is unfolding makes me for the first time in 16 years of supporting the team question it.

So much pretentious wankerism in this thread, you don't like them, who cares, i am honestly indifferent on them but i would have to say over the last 25 years they have been probably the most consistant band when it comes to throwing out 'hits' so to speak and that's where the masses are so it's obvious that most polls will have them as the 'greatest' band they would even rate high on all time lists on that basis.

Defence is woeful needs a good looking at, we look good in parts moving the ball around the field just need to work on creating of chances, although we did seem to have a few today just need to work on the weighting of the passes, positives in attack today, just terrible defending and keeping though dragging us down.
