If it was me I'd call him Barack because that's his name, He isn't my president*. Just like Alex ferguson is Alex not Sir Alex or The pope is Benedict (or Joeseph) not his holiness.

*For the record even if i was american I'd still call him barack just for the craic.

Maybe its because we don't have a monarchy in Ireland but I don't understand why anyone would like the idea of a monarchy. The head of state should be elected not appointed though succession. Also the idea of someone being royalty simply because of their (inbred) family history is ballz.

The game was decided by the turnovers. The Pack let the lead get to them and dropped far far too many balls. It was a good superbowl though.

Friedel shocking for both goals. Walker apart from his goal was poor, his crossing was terrible. Petrov is finished. Downing cut inside too much, needs to be played on the left wing. Ash is not a striker and gabby is not a winger. Ged seems blind to these glaring issues...

Friedel 9 - MOTM - Made some great saves and wasn't at fault for any of the goals.

Dunne 5 - Caught out terribly for the first goal. Made one great tackle but looked shaky

Clark 6 - Did okay but the lad's not a left back.

Collins 4 - Didn't command well and someone needs to tall him he's not zidane when it comes to passing. He's slowly becoming the new mellberg with all the aimless hoofing he does.

Walker 5 - gets caught out defensively too often and can at times be too eager to get forward.

Downing 7 - Did well but needs to learn to use his right foot because he cuts inside far far too often. Good pass for the goal.

A Young 6 - Had a good effort off the crossbar but overall didn't influence the game enough or create any chances. If he's going to be playing up front he needs to do more. He should be on the wing IMO.

Albrighton 6 - Not at his best

Makoun 9 - Looked the business 8)

Petrov 6 - Huffed and puffed but was outclassed by J2M

Bent 7 - Took his goal well and had a decent work rate. Not his fault we couldn't create any chances for him.

Cuellar - 7.5 - Looks a really decent palyer. I hope he stays as he's a great squad player.

Dunne - 7.5 - Looks back to near his best

Collins 8.5 - MOTM - a bargain at the price we paid for him.

Baker 7 - I thought he did okay. I'd sooner see him play than that word removed warnock.

Makoun - 7 - He looked good but not quite up to the pace of the Premier league just yet.

NRC - 6.5 - Did the usual NRC performance, tackled well, full of energy, woeful passing.

Downing - 7 - PLayed okay, should be playing on the left and should have pulled that ball back for Bent instead of shooting.

Gabby - 7.5 - Need s to have the confidence to run at his man more often. Nice to see him score.

Young - 8 - Work rate was fantastic, poor peno though if the keeper went the right way it was an easy save.

Bent - 7 - His touch was poor but his work rate was good and its nice to havea forward willing to make runs unlike Carew...

Petrov - 7 Came on at the right time and played well. Lovely to have a player like him to come off the bench.

I thought he looked decent last night. He seems keen to pass the ball as soon as he gets it not hold onto it for 45 seconds and then hoof it to nobody. Nice to see houllier bringing in players that want to play the short passing game rather than the hoof to heskey game. I won't judge him on one match though...

Looked uncomfortable playing on the right wing which is understandable. Always wanted to cut inside onto his left foot, other than that I thought he did fine.
