Friedel - 5 - not alot he can do when the back four in front of him as so bad.
Warnock - 1- So the "scapegoat" puts in another woeful performance. £8.5m MON wasted on this joker was it?
L.Young - 2 - Looked terrible
Collins - 2 - See above
Dunne - 1 - Awful. Just awful. An accident waiting to happen
Albrighton- 6 - at least he tried which ws more than most
Hogg - 3 - can;t really see what he offers to be honest. I though he was supposed to be a cattermole type player but he doesn't make any tackles.
Clark - 3 - put a shift in and at least tried to tackle.
Downing - 5 - Looked our best player, not that that says much
Ireland - 2 - some nice passes but did he even break a sweat?
Gabby - 4 - Had absolutely no support from anyone. Can't blame him for giving up.
Houllier - 0 - It seems he can't even orgainse the side to defend a set piece. You like liverpool? We know and we don't give a f**k.
P.S. That liverpool side is, on paper, the worst Liverpool side I have ever seen.
-
Friedel - 4 - Very lucky to have gotten away with throwing the ball over his own line.
Young - 7 - Did well defended well and got forward when possible
Dunne - 2 - Shite.
Collins - 4 - Slightly better than Dunne but still poor
Warnock - 4- Awful. Positionally poor, didn't get round on the cover and offered little attacking threat.
Clarke - 5 - Anoymous
Hogg - 6 - did some hard work. not sure what to make of him
Downing - 7- Did well but his final ball was poor too many times.
Bannan -7- was on the periphery in the first half but got into it in the second. It was a shame he had to come off.
Young - 3 - Another poor display. Poor crossing and he thinks he's alot better than he is.
Gabby - 8 - Took his goal well and did his best. Needs a playing partner up front, he's not a good lone striker for team we have at the moment.
Overall - We had all the possession and played like the home team but we are toothless up front and a shambles at the back. The Jury's still out on Ged.
-
No real surprises, they are a much better team than us and deserve to be 2 up. The game is effectively over now so hopefully the lads can show something in the second half to give us some hope for the next few games.

Getting into this game now. Its decent but lacks the polish that MW2 had. Finally getting my K/D ration consistently > 1.0 now that I have the Galil. I didn't really take to the Famas. Why is it that you get your best kill streaks when you have the worst kill streaks rewards enabled...
-
judging by this thread I think there could be alot of disappointed people in January. I would be surprised if we spent more than £5m in January and I expect we might see 1 player leave and 1 come in with maybe a loan deal aswell.
-
Disappointing but at least we managed to score a goal
-
yeah i have. its good, in fact its very good. but its much of the same really. short campaign (though i found it to offer a bit more than mw2 even if it has a stupid story). online isnt exactly hugely populated, so it doesnt have the same appeal as it will when it hits shelves.
if you want the best in mp fps play then pick it up, you'll know exactly what youre getting and you'll love it (maybe aside from the attack dogs perk ), but if, like me, you're getting a little sick of the whole online shooter thing with feck all originality or innovation, maybe skip this one
i will say though, i can see the wager games being very popular
I pre-ordered it today against my best judgement. If its ballz I'll blame you . Got it for £27 including delivery cos I had a £9 voucher for Amazon. I'm sure I'll get my 27 quid's worth at least.

Black Ops due out Friday right?
next tuesday
Have you played much of this yet P3te? Should I be pre-ordering it or waiting until after release/reviews are out?
-
In Black Ops, killstreak rewards dont increase your killstreak...if that makes sense?
It does. I never liked the old way in MW2. Once you got your harrier then you could just hide and get your 3 killstreak rewards in a row without killing anyone with your gun.

I'm really looking forward to playing this game on PC.
Does anyone else play their games on PC?
Was always an Xbox man before but... cant move my thumbs fast enough for COD
If your playing a FPS with a joypad your doing something wrong. Mouse + Keyboard = win.

Maybe 2 miles from work at the most. Takes about 5 mins in the car.

Friedel
Beye Cuellar Collins Warnock
Sidwell Coker
Young Ireland Downing
Heskey.
Will this really be the team? Really worried about this game now...Sidwell and NRC together = bad things...
-
highlights anywhere boys and girls??
-
That's awesome, nearly makes me want to play it again but then I remember how shit it was and how nothing will have changed.
This. Great cinematic though.

I can see our midfield being
Young - NRC - Ireland - Petrov - Downing
against Spurs and Chelsea, with Albrighton dropping to bench.
That's the midfield I'd play all the time with Albrighton used as an impact sub. Easy to push Young up front and go 4-4-2 with that formation if required too. Also spurs have no fit defenders and a champions league game midweek so it might be a great chance to get a win against them.

Friedel 7
L Young 7
Cuellar 9* MOTM
Collins 7
Warnock 5 - Lucky not to be sent off, dives in far too much
Albrighton 7
Reo-Coker 6
Petrov 6
Downing 6
A Young 8
Heskey 7
Agbonlahor 3
Sidwell 2

I believe the Nike deal is until 2012.
I know, so let's call it next year plus 3 months
Next year plus 9 months, unless we plan on changing kit maker in January...

Nike.

Being Wolfsburg's first choice doesn't really mean a lot -
...
and left Liverpool as somewhat of a laughable figure.
Another great post from Chindie, not a lot to add apart from the fact the houllier will in all likeihood have the team play in a very boring style.

Given the injuries Bolton have I expect a decent home win.
