Hi General,
I would just like to update you regarding a recent transaction I had with the club shop. I purchased a rather nice Villa top on the website for a very reasonable price and the item was shipped to my house in under 5 days. I understand that with a communication medium like this one you often only get the negative feedback but I thought you might like to get some positive feedback too.
Tell the folks in the club shop to keep up the good work!

Del La knee. His sliding tackles were a thing of beauty.
-
We lost it in the centre of midfield, The decision not to get a proper replacement for barry means we had no chance of doing anything in europe anyway. Heskey was dire.
-
Poo. Might be a blessing in disguise but its seems like the win versus liverplop just papered over the cracks. Our central midfield is a shambles and MON failure to replace barry is a massive error.

Back in Black - AC/DC
-
Brad 9 - MOTM - some top quality saves
Shorey 7 - Did well, surprisingly
Davies 9 - One of his beest games for villa, deserved his goal
Cuellar 7 - Cuaght out once or twice, still looks shakey.
Beye 8 - Sundday Monday Habib Beye! Tuesday Wednesday Habib Beye!
Sidwell 8 - Great effort from sidders.
NRC 8 - See above.
Petrov 8 - Did well and likes playing in a 4-5-1 I would say.
Ash 8 - Did well and did alot of defending for the team
Milner 8 - Ran everywhere, defended and counter attacked well
Gabby 7 - Held the ball up a bit and put in one or two good crosses. Needs a partner though.
MON - 8.5 - Got his tactics and team spot on
-
I think the team will be:
------------Freidel
NRC-Cueller-Beye-Shorey
---------Sidwell--Petrov
--Gabby-Young-Milner
------------Carew

Davies subbed shortly after clutching his shoulder ..........good job we sold Knight eh Martin ?
I think that's the thing that irritates me most. Why the in the name of satan wasn't his shoulder fixed in the summer??? What sort of cornershop are we running, is Herbert back???
All we need now are a few terrible panic buys...
-
Friedel.
-
I'll give him to the end of this transfer window to see if he does do what needs to be done, but if we only sign defenders between now and the end of the window as MM has said then I'll be baying for blood.
-
From what I have seen, no he's not good enough. He dives in way too much especially high up the pitch which means he is frequently caught out of position. Hopefully he'll come good because I don't know if Davies will ever be up to standard.
-
Friedel - 5 poor
Beye - 7 Looked decent
Davies - 3 Awful. How long must we wait before people realise his "potential" is a myth. All over the place positionally, same as always.
Cuellar - 4 Dives in way too much especially high up the pitch.
Shorey - 2 100% shite. We need to sign Warnock on Monday.
Milner - 7 worked hard, unlike some others.
Petrov - 6 hit one or two nice passes but offered little else
Delph - N/A not going to rate the kid as he should never have been thrown in at the deep end like he was. Making the step up from League 1 to premier league and expected to start the first league game of the season???
Young - 4 Did few good things. lost the ball, ran into trouble and missed an open goal.
Gabby - 4 Did he actually do anything remotely useful in the game?
Heskey - 4 Had the ball hoofed up to him repeatedly and did nothing with it.
Albrighton - Had little of the ball.
Fonzie - See above
Sidwell - Looked okay, should have hit the target with the free header 12 yards out.
Overall it was puke and our terrible home form of last season continues. Wigan are NOT a good side but we made them look like barcelona at times. Should have been 3 or 4 nil TBH. Good luck to them, I like roberto martinez.
-
£18m on Davies and Cuellar?? Davies is comically rubbish. Inept display from Villa and as expected we are going to go nowhere this season, except backward of course.
-
Wheater. Distin is good but ageing and wheater could be a good defender for us for the next 8 years
-
For a myriad of reasons no.
-
Stay. Thought people supported this club no matter which players it has. As said, you're lucky to have a ST.
This.

Good writeup. It was his crossing that caught my eye too. Looked a natural crosser of a ball (something I was tagged with in my breath taking u-12 to u-16 career* ). Its almost like he doesn't have to think about crossing, he just swings a boot and the ball goes where he wanted it to, 99% of the time. Take note James Milner.
*That was the peak of my own football career as shortly after my sixteenth birthday I discovered the produce of one Arthur Guinness.

I tell you who I do feel sorry for its the real Newcastle fans
I'm too busy laughing to have sympathy for the few geniune Toon fans.
-
how unlikely Ashley is to a) get the money he wants come out of this with anything close to the money he put in.
Can't say I have any sympathy for him TBH. Everyone knew that Fat freddie shepard was spending money Newcastle didn't have and they were in huge debt. Ashley didn't do a proper due dilligence, when he did get in he mismanged the club, now he's in a worse spot than when he started, the club are in a shit and I thank him for that .

We have lost two of our best players and a good squad player, the squad looks weaker than last year with the rumoured replacements not top quality, I am not convinced we can compete with the clubs around us and feel sure we will move backwards next season.
This.
