I wonder if he was always going to be in the 25, and we've been discussing a complete non issue, or if Preece was right and Gerrard changed his mind?

Flights booked for this one. Anyone any idea when tickets might go on general sale? Will it even get to that stage? 3 of us heading to it, chances slim for tickets?
Unlikely. Check with your local Lions Club?

Not like Mings just put in an excellent performance against the best centre forward in the world or anything like that is it?

That Federer whip of the wrists passing shot is one of the greatest sights in sport

Had planned to wildcard during the international break but may have to do it now and burn two free transfers. Will have a look.
edit: went for it, could’ve got to 10 players without a hit (wasn’t going to take a hit a week before the wildcard) but that included Ward and Williams. Just have to hope the international break passes without injuries to my players!

The obesity strategy/sugar tax was actually a rare good policy from the previous govt. So of course Truss is repealing it.

Ridiculous decision to cancel football. They were literally given the green light to go ahead this morning by official advice! Are they expecting everyone to mope around all weekend then dutifully trot back into work on Monday?

Said this in the City reactions thread but think he needs to sit out the next two games on the bench and then get away with Scotland and try and build up a little confidence there during the break. It’s almost embarrassing by how much better we look without him on the pitch at the moment. Really like the guy but it seemed clear at the start of the season that he was the weaker link in this system - makes the captaincy decision even more baffling!

It’s starting to be reported that her plan for the Energy crisis is to freeze bills. Not sure what level, or how it will be funded yet.
This would be great. I’d want a way out of the fix we booked into at 40% above the current cap though if so, if that’s not possible then people will be punished for trying to avoid the coming price hikes.

Great night at VP yesterday. We t expecting to lose by 4 or 5. Game changed when Cash went off - Ashley Young was magnificent and our MOTM. Also very good performances from Watkins and Mings. Luiz/Kamara partnership is a must and makes us look a lot better.
Thought Ramsey struggled further forward at first but he grew into the game and when he moved back after McGinn went off was back to near his best. As for Meatball, he really is out of form and would benefit from time out of the side against Leicester and Soton, let him have a break and recover his form with Scotland in the break.
A word for Emi and taking the sting out of the game straight after our equaliser, top class! Great finish Bailey and quietly assured performances from Digne and Konsa. A real team performance and Gerrard has to take credit for that despite the bad run we’re on. Still think he’s not the right man but he’s bought himself the next couple of matches here. UTV!

Not too shabby! They haven’t clicked into near top gear yet but we have stifled pretty well. Actually think we’ve looked better since Young came on (going forward at least). Still a long way to go but we’ve started to look a threat on the counter at least.

Left the captaincy on Haaland safe in the knowledge that he’s likely to get points even if he only makes a cameo off the bench, and Salah is ready to step up from VC if he doesn’t play.

It just seems so obvious that he and Kamara have to play together. Why can’t Gerrard see it?

Hope that wasn’t Luiz’s last action in a Villa shirt. What a way to bow out if so.
First half was embarrassing and could’ve been 5 or 6 down at HT. Gerrard’s system isn’t working and he needs to go.
Mings played well I thought, and Kamara.

I meant unlikely that it goes to general sale given the opponent but if you get in touch with a Lions Club there’s a good chance they will sort you out as you’ve got flights booked!
