    This passed me by

I liked the last Ghostbusters film so nothing has put me off seeing this.

Already been posted but yeah, looks promising (I thought the last one was good too) 👍

Not many rockers from the 70's look this good at age 70. :o

I have a lot of time for Stewart Copeland. Tasteful, original precision drumming with the odd explosion of power.

He's also pretty down-to-earth for a big rock star, clearly didn't learn a thing from Sting..

Also did one of my favourite OST with Rumblefish. Its brilliance still gets a regular listening.

I saw this online and thought i’d post it here. I haven’t seen enough of the films to really have a view but might be interesting for others 🤷‍♂️

Disagree with a few of those but it's a cool idea.

Jaws 3 better than 2? Lol

Which Batman though? Burton only made two but surely that can't mean the Nolan trilogy?

Is the Krampus one the one with William Shatner?

Hes in Christmas Horror Story, haven't seen him in a Krampus movie tbh.

The Krampus I like is the one from 2015 with Adam Scott and Toni Collette.

    Christmas Evil

...all done over the past week. Think you can see my theme 😁

Yeah, we've done a fair few of the horror themed Xmas movies in our house too. Black Christmas (OG ofc), Rare Exports, It's a Wonderful Knife, Better Watch Out, Krampus, A Christmas Horror Story, The Advent Calendar, The Retaliators and Christmas Bloody Christmas 😀

Still need to watch Inside and The Children.

@Designer1 How on earth did you defeat the judge cleric? My strength build has been doing well for me up to now but this #### finishes me pretty quickly with either holy or fire damage.  That second phase she's on me all the time.  It seems this is definitely a boss to take down with magic, but my stats are too low to use any decent casts.  Thinking maybe throwables?

That's the one wearing the crown who does the arrow AOE? Yeah, that was an absolute bastard iirc. I seem to remember I dropped equipment down to the fastest roll speed and used a 2H weapon while dodging under their weapon swings.

Not gonna lie, that was one of the hardest bosses.

The satisfaction you get for overcoming it is unlike anything else. And the heart pounding feeling you get when you're taking on a boss and it's touch and go and one mistake might end it but if you just land this next couple of hits you'll beat it... is the best thing.

I still think the first time I beat a certain boss duo is the best gaming moment I've ever had.

It’s **** impossible to be honest. How is this fun?

I mean, it's not impossible is it?

As Dubbs says, you just have to stick with it and not treat it like a normal RPG (there's a reason its regarded as one of the best games ever created).

I struggled a helluva lot when I first played it on PS3 all those years ago but once it clicked there is no other game that has ever matched the thrill and euphoria when a breakthrough is made (even something as simple as unlocking a shortcut).

I went from not knowing what I was doing to finishing it for a first time to finally completing a 'No Death' run a while ago. I never, ever thought I'd do that (and I'm not a great gamer at all).

  9. Oh and make sure you talk to EVERY npc and exhaust their dialogue. Also, read item descriptions.

Both those things give clues to where you need to go and what exactly is going on.

The game gives info, but never holds your hand.

So should I always be “reverse hollowing” or should I save it for when I need it?

You're going to be dying...a lot on your first playthrough. I advise only reversing hollowing to boost bonfires and when you know there's an NPC that you can summon for a boss battle.

Having finished GOW I’m really trying to get back into DS remastered. Started a new save but **** me this game is so inaccessible.

I have no idea where I’m meant to be going, what I’m meant to be doing. Every direction I go I seem to be able to go so far before I reach something insanely difficult.

What am I meant to be doing? Where am I going? 😂

As someone who has finished DS1 over 100 times, I believe a first run of the game should be blind. I'm so glad I didn't use a guide and I'm always jealous when people are on their first playthrough.

Having said that I'll give you a little bit of advice just to get you in the right direction.

Assuming you're out of the Undead Asylum and have landed in Firelink Shrine, take the hill upwards towards the tunnel. Once you see a massive bastard red dragon fly over you, you know you're on the optimal route. Do not go down the hill towards the regenerating skeletons. That's for later. The game does a good job of telling you which direction by how difficult the areas you come across are. If you are getting one shotted, you need to find another route.

Also, taking the Master Key as your starting gift can make things much easier.

Oh, and keep an eye on your equipment weight. If it's too high, you will be 'Fat Rolling' and that's no good for evading enemies.
