None of the above, they're all OK.
Hands-down winner is U2.
With Joy Division/New Order and The Smiths in close contention.

I knew that one. There was a really interesting program about it on the telly a few months ago.Vaguely inspired by Connells latest thread...The lead singer of the Eels' dad was the fella who came up with the theory of parellel universes.
Actually it wasn't all THAT interesting.

Yeah, and it stops dead at the Oregon border.

Not much going on in Nevada, is there? Apart from that very regular rectangular strip down its western border - what's that about?Carbon emissions in the USA circa April 2008. Obviously it doubles up as a population density map, but for ignorant gits like me its quite interesting to see just how much of the USA is sparsely habited.

When I was a kid I thought it was hilarious when I found out there were places called Jaffa and Fray Bentos. I couldn't imagine why anybody would want to name their town after oranges or corned beef.

I am very envious that my daughters are going to the Hop Farm festival - Neil Young, Primal Scream, Supergrass, My Morning Jacket, Rufus Wainwright, Guillemots, Laura Marling, Everest, and Carbon/Silicon.

Beef. With horseradish sauce (the strong stuff, not the wimpy creamed version). Medium rare. And a nice bottle of claret.

Mmmmmm, beer. I've just done a ten mile fell race, it's father's day, and I'm going to enjoy some.
Really wanted Marston's Old Empire IPA but Morrisons were out of it, so I've settled for some Sheperd Neame Whitstable Bay.

I once had a an AC50, split top & speaker. Noisy as ****.Odd thing is the original Vox guitars wern't actually very nice to play.I nearly bought a left handed Vox teardrop for about £300 back in the late 80's but it played awfully, compared to a new guitar. I think I was going theough a phase of likeing "The Mission" and Wayne Hussey played one. But glad in hindsight that I didnt.
Wouldn't mind a Vox AC30 amp though.

White, no question. Brian Jones lives.
All black might not be too bad, but black with a white scratchplate looks crap.
White it is.

Morrisons. I used to not like them as they seemed a bit depressing and drab. But then I compared prices with my alternative (Sainsburys) - massive difference. And over the last couple of years Morrsions have improved their ranges a lot - their fresh produce is better than Sainsburys. The stores vary wildly, some are still crap, but my local one is excellent.
That said, they are local here (Leeds) so there are a lot more of them than any other. I don't like Asda, I hate the Tescopoly, and Waitrose and Marks are just ridiculously overpriced.
Ken Morrison all the way for me.

Ah yes, but Jas's claim was:
"Sunderland were the last team to win the league in striped shirts in 1936".
Which is indisputably true, as no other team won the league in striped shirts in 1936.

The Beatles got their name from their roadie Les, whom they regularly used to beat at cribbage.

Oh, OK. Let's see, I think I've got a pair of vision-inverting glasses in the drawer here, somewhere....Here's a good one.If you wear special glasses with inverted lenses to make everytihng appear upside down, after a period of time, your eyes will automatically switch, so that things seem normal.
If you then take the glasses off, everything is upside down and will take another length of time for your eyes to revert to their original view.
Try it, it really doea work, but not advisable in the workplace as it's pretty dangerous.

Indeed, thus completing Mr. von Upminster's remarkable hattrick of world records - he is also the most averagely heighted man in the world. At only 5 feet and 9 inches, Mr. Carlos von Upminster of Bogota is the world's smallest giant. He also holds the record for being the world's tallest dwarf.
Surely that's the definition of average height!
It's all in The Hackenthorpe Book of Lies.
