    Am I gutted to miss the game??? ABSOLUTELY!!!!! I hope that BCFC does not make anything of my absence but....I cannot control that. Randy is faced with a HUGE dilemma. The Browns play the Steelers this weekend. If the Browns win, they will be # 1 in their Division and in line, if they continue to be successful, to make the playoffs for the first time in years. Randy's father brought the Browns back to Cleveland...and this year's team is as successful as they have been since they came "home." This game will be a family affair for Randy...a recognition of his father's efforts to bring the team to Cleveland and Randy's efforts to get the team back into a competitive mode. His mother, sister, and children will be at the game. Randy needs to be there. Win or lose, he needs to be there. He has missed other Browns games to be at Villa Park...he needs to be in Cleveland for this one. He LOVES the VILLA!!!
    No problem, sir, we get it. Here's to a Villa/Browns double!

    Their return to the lower leagues has caused quite a noticeable upsurge in hooliganism.

    Their recent match with Millwall (surprise surprise) prouced scenes reminiscent of the 70s & 80s.

    That wouldn't bother me particularly except for the fact that I live in Leeds and I don't want the city centre full of meatheads if I'm out shopping.

    Wouldn't say a mate as such but I know him well enough to say Hi and share a drink at the bar whilst listening to his latest diatribe :mrgreen: Havent seen him for a fair few years now to be honest but I used to know him reasonably well and I'm sure now I've started going to gigs on a more regular basis, that our paths will cross once more

    He seems to use "Wah!" in his various band names in the same way that our very own Spizz uses, er... "Spizz".

    Where IS Captain Kirk by the way? He used to post on here.

    You may remember way back when you first joined this board that I warned you that the UK press were very likely to be rather underhand and mischievous, and distort your words to bad effect.

    Here's the proof. But don't let them gag you. We know what you meant, and you have nothing to apologise for.

    The changes that have been effected since Randy took over have been fantastic, and we really appreciate it. Keep up the good work!

    As somebody has pointed out, if you go to Manchester you'll see loads of small companies calling themselves "Second City...(this, that or the other)". I'm sure loads of Mancs actually think that they are officially second.

    But they're wrong.

    It's always been Brum, it always will be.
