I know this, I felt everyone already knew that point hence the original point about how they inject money

All good. I was just adding some background for “anyone who doesn't understand”.

For anyone who doesn't understand, NSWE usually put money into the club using the share method which does nothing for FFP.

It does do something for PSR/FFP. The permitted loses of 35 mill per year are permitted only if they are funded in that way. If they are not funded by owner equity injection, the story changes, IIRC.

Don’t know the song, I think I 've only listened to one Bill Nelson album and that’s Quit Dreaming and Get on the Beam (?) and it doesn’t ring any bells from that. have you tried Shazamming it?

Edit: That sample was also in MARRS Pump Up the Volume which also sampled Eric B and Rakim (different song) in the same year

From the depths of memory and then yahoogling it, the song is Quietly Now (Manipulating the Phonograph No. 2) or/and Quietly Now (Manipulating the Phonograph No. 1). Ade gave me the CD probably 20+ years ago and it had no track listing, so I used musicbrainz to try and identify the tracks, and that’s what it came up with.

this one does have a very famous sample already lifted from it

”This is a journey into sound, stereophonic sound” used by Coldcut

My mate Adrian (you’ve met him) gave me a cd yonks ago of Bill Nelson songs. One of them uses that sample too. Do you know if that precedes the coldcut use?

  5. My 15 year old, maybe more, iPod decided (or my computer decided) that it needed its software restored. Possibly due to the age of the iPod, possibly due to the latest Apple computer OS update, who knows. But it's taken me nearly 4 hours so far to try and get it sorted. Multiple attempts on the Mac, all failed with an unknown error

So I connected it to a win PC and managed to restore its software on that. SO now it would at least be recognised as a an iPod, not a corrupted external drive. Back to the Mac. Reformat the iPod to the Mac format (from Windows Fat32) and after 3 attempts, the Music sapp can now see it as an iPod that needs its software restored. Click restore and....it's just sat there, taking ages.

I mean it's good that a 15 year old iPod is still working (or was) and it's good that it's still compatible with modern computers, but FFS...
