  1. Unbelievably tired players, bad Ref decisions again, some poor misses and a penalty miss, fact is its 3 points but i fear for us if we can't get it right v Hull in time for B'ham and Man City. 3pts hard won.
  2. I think the boy just became a man...what a goal and what an important gaol.
  3. Gabby walks of like he's been on the nest for the last month
  4. He needs probing...................with a cattle prod
  5. Isn't the internet crap, or my server Plus net is crap one or the other.
  6. There is only one person in the world, O'Neill. Even Heskey knows he won't. Capello loves him too. Capello picks him for a national side for which there are very limited options, I doubt very much he would ever have signed the useless **** lump. Breaking news........Capello found hanged in the toilet, with suicide note saying..."just couldn't take anymore"
  7. Terrible game, never seen players look this knackered even at this point of the season, leggy, stiff, pondering, nothing there.
  8. Must go for this, hit them early and put them on the back foot. For this game i really hope Gabby frees himself up, runs at defenders instead of this constant backing in and bringing players in around him that he seems to have adopted this season, wrong player for that IMO, needs a goal spree. Hope Ash plays more of the simple ball and early into Gabby, instead of this long ball play, hope also we see him have a good punt at goal from 20-25yds out we need more of that. Milner to press the centre of the back 4 and Petrov moving it about...and hope the back 4 a at least solid. 3-0 Villa if we get the opener early
  9. If you where told the rumour that the world will end in Dec 2012 as predicted, would you set out on a campaign of free love for all, free beer for all, and phuk work, or would you retreat to a buddhist monastery somewhere in Tibet, find you Che, restrict yourself to a diet of bread and water, with some goat curd on a Saturday night and contemplate the after life knowing that as a result of your celibacy and restraint your reincarnation may mean your the next Villa manager, or.......................it may mean oblivion. so....what would you do?
  10. Having watched the debate, Clegg looks top 4 Premeirship to me, in fact i would go as far as to say, where the phuk did that come from, thought the days of us coming up with a forceful strong orator and someone that actually looks like a leader had long gone, even through the camera he looked like he was telling you straight at the camera and at the questioner, oi, I'm talking to you mate bit. Cameron, for me doesn't convince, sketchy, almost weak, when he expresses himself sometimes looks like he's pleading and very grandiose, he needs to drop that, take a leaf out of Maggies book of debate and get a bit hawkeyeish and hard lipped, focused, i thought the one thing that rogered him right royally was when Brown led him down the path with the "Thank you for putting me on your poster and showing me smiling David" you've done more for me than the media ever have, and while the both stood there giggling like a pair of girls, Clegg stood watching frowning and dead pan serious, can you imagine what Thatcher would have done with that comment from a labour leader, she certainly wouldn't have stood there laughing. Have to say from this debate Clegg was a different class and if this was all we had to make a decision in an ideal world i would say bearing in mind the crapper we are in form a government choosing the best form all parties, and Clegg the leader, seems to me he's solid and would become a formidable statesman not taking any crap from the rest of Europe, can't see that in Cameron whatsoever, and we already know Brown.
  11. This is going to be a difficult game, IMO we need to break them early just to remind them there season is over and there's little point in putting up any kind of opposition, the more the game goes on 0-0 the more Portsmouth will have a go, a kind of swan song and up yours Villa. I'm going for a win, (vital for 6th) if we break them with an early goal i think 3-1, if we sit back and let them have to much possession its could be either way and to the wire 1-0 us or 2-1 them......don't fancy a draw on this, to many players on both sides that can make to many slip ups.
  12. because it was made seconds after we had equalised and then gone behind again. nothing takes the stuffing out of a team more than thinking they are back level only to conceed another one. he waited until ten minutes before the end and made a last ditch change to try and nick something. we had been utter w@nk all through the second half, and yet he hadnt tried to change anything. a proactive change would have been to bring him on when there was still half an hour to play so he could get into the game instead of just chasing desparate long hoofs down the pitch in injury time. Sucker punch, nothing worse, i'd bet there where Villa players out there 5mins after Everton re-took the lead that still wasn't fully aware they where still behind,
  13. Needed a win, got a draw so we have to take the positive from that, that's a point in the bank, we really need to push for 6th place to make sure of Europe. Man City the only other stumbling block i would expect 3 points in all other games. Performers tonight, Downing i thought was on for a real fizzer then didn't, Petrov good, Gabby got the goal, nice cross from Ash for the own goal and it curved with such pace that you'd have a good case for saying that was as much his as Jags. For me we just lack that ability to hit a team hard and apply pressure and break a side, we seem happy to sit back and absorb pressure far to much counting always on the counter tactic, which is fine but it would be nice to see us absolutely hammer a side when we mean to.
  14. Shake it up MON ffs man..............................
  15. We aren't committed enough, we've played some good football but we lack the killer instinct up front and in midfield, nice flowing stuff isn't going to do it, i'd bet Moyes is waiting till we fade to play his hand. I'd throw fonz on up front with Carew and Gabby just dropping back so effectively 3 up front, and i wouldn't shy form bringing Ash Young of later in the game, the fella looks all played out to me, he's very niggly looking for everything..............we need to win this.
  16. We win this at all costs. I don't consider we where beaten on Saturday we where denied the possibility of a win and a place in the final, big difference IMO. There is only one way to answer this, where possible with the exception of injury we put the same team out so the lads can prove a point, utterly convinced they will be chomping at the bit to get at Everton, no because its Everton but to right the wrongs. Convinced the lads will turn this negative into a positive and pull of a valiant result full of vim and vigour, loads of energy and commitment. Good solid win coming up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we can have a look at making sure we are in Europe next season, lets face it after Everton there isn't to much to worry about.
  17. Wasn't at the game, did watch it on the box and it sounded that way, did anybody see the Chelsea fan give the Nazi salute, either that or he's got bad arthritis
  18. Martin O'Neill is as right as Moses, put it this way, and this is what i would have contained in his rant. If you can't expect a decent and reasonable body of policing a game in a professional manner and trust those people to make the right decisions in a fair and just manner in favour of both teams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What is the point,....all those people that have paid all that money to go and watch there team, hoping for the best, all those people that got over excited waiting for the game to kick of on the box and all the lads that sweated b*ll*x as you can see by Gabby's demonstration when the ref refused the penalty, he looked like a kid in a supermarket who's mum as said "No you can't have those crisps"...all of that and the game has been blighted....................He's right.....a friggin disgrace. And And And Twice in one season.
  19. I think we are coming to that point in the season where certain players have to be tagged "For Sale", lets hope we don't do anything crazy like wait for the last minute of the last day of the last week before we put any coherent plan into operation and get players in....lets do it to a plan of who we want and go and get them ffs. Then and only then hopefully we won't have to snarl at disgusting decisions, because with a bit of luck we will have already put the opposition to the sword and be a goal or 2 up.
  20. Which is why all I hoped for was a fair ref. You have my 100% agreement on that point, we all know that Villa are not the team Chelsea are, we all Know we can't bring on player like Ballack and Anelka...Its appalling sick and disastrous in a mind blowing way that a professional ref can stand a few yards away, see it, even touch it if he wanted to and not give give the penalty and consider a sending of at such an obvious blatant sickening foul. IMO
  21. It can also be indicative of a team that goal 1 down and are revisited by the demons of the previous game and then heads drop, energy deflates and start to crap themselves at the slightest sign of pressure, hence the Cuellor ph*k up, its that point where you just know you can't beat the man in front of you, happens in all competition in all sports. IMO. Terry....very good CB, couldn't care less about the other stuff.
  22. The thing for me is that for whatever reason i am finding it harder and harder to get excited about watching football, never been the kind of person thank ph*k that's held real bitter resentment against other teams and there players, always got to boiling point at the prospect of a world cup, all that seems to have gone and i was wondering why. Today the reason was right before my eyes. Thought we was absolutely cheated v Man Utd in the final, Vidic should have gone of..that's it. Today Gabby turned his player in the box for an absolute (forget stonewall) penalty AND you'd have a good shout for another sending of... at about the same point in the game he rogered Vidic v Man Utd. The difference that first goal would have made is incalculable, Chelsea would have been chasing a game that until Dunne decided to put the ball Terry's way, we competed pretty well, but we all know when you play a top 4 side you need every break you can get, and once again IMO we where cheated. Players: The season is drawing to a close for Villa and even 6th place looks remote, we could have had so much more!!!!!!!. Ashley Young, i won't say anymore than he has to be injured, he must be. Gabby did OK until about the 65th and then faded as did Carew, Downing????, thought Collins did well, thought Petrov did well and thought the midfield was every bit as good as Chelsea in the first half. Point is i could not possibly watch the Semi tomorrow and no way could i watch a final between Spurs and Chelsea knowing that really we had that good a shout to being there, at what a game that would have been Villa v Spurs (assuming). You have to take the game at its first instance and for me the influence of the ref over the result is overwhelming, that's putting me of watching the sport, a sport that unless it puts its house in order money and otherwise is destined for meltdown IMO.
