Just another point on this, they where commenting last night about the fact that when a new leader takes office its usually always the case that there is an air of excitment, people clapping etc, when Blair got in the country was Blair drunk for days afterwards, even the Tory supporters. They noticed last night there was none of that in fact the media both Sky and the Beeb thought there was almost an air of gloom, you could even hear people booing as Cameron got out of the car in Downing street. Kind of tells you where the country is and how people are thinking.......... Wouldn't want to be ya!!!!!

Well Ajax, I voted Tory, I voted Tory because there was 2 things that Cameron said in the debates that where crucial to business and the first time I've ever heard a leader say as much, and everybody i know in business have said the same thing. The point I'm making is that when you deal with the Tories you have to have a fiercely dominant leader to make it work, because they are the most right wing and radical party, always have been, Tory leaders don't give way, the last one the did back in the early seventies became a laughing stock. Had i have known this i would not have voted Tory, and therefore i believe there should be another General Election a few months down the road. That's it.

I totally agree. I have never doubted that Gordon Brown has always tried to do the right thing. It is very easy to be brainwashed by the Daily Fascist/Sun rags into thinking he is evil. I think that maybe the job was a bit too big for him but I would never slag the guy off. Human nature will mean we never have a fair society but at least he has tried to make Britain a fairer place. Maybe Cameron also wants that, I have my doubts there but I will reserve judgement, but the bigger question is whether the dark forces behind Call me Dave will allow that...and I am pretty sure that they won't. I haven't agreed with many things that Brown has done but you can't question the mans integrity, clearly as far as Labour was concerned Clegg wanted to much, a price Labour wasn't prepared to pay for reason of there identity that the Tories are clearly prepared to do anything to get some sniff of power, but surely Cameron must realise he is a bridled leader, he simply will not lead as his own man, in fact i would say Clegg is the stronger personality.

A disaster in the making, couldn't believe when i heard tonight that no less than 6 top places in the Government will go to Liberal Democrats, its likely that the Chancellor, will be Vince Cable, Liberal, and that Cameron's No 2 will be Nick Clegg, Home Secretary will be a Liberal, so this little poor Tory in David Cameron encircled like Red Indians around a fated wagon train is going to run the country as held to ransom. So we have a Liberal Democrat government, a party with the least votes, header up by a Tory leader. Lets hope there's no feuds because the muck will hit the fan so fast it will be scary, and this is stable. Should have gone to the country, this will happen anyway IMO within 2 years.

When was the last government to be elected with more than 50% of the vote or more than 50% off the populations vote? A government has never been or doubt will ever be supported by the majority of the GBP. Thats the problem with our electoral process. Its all about manipulation.

Not only do i think we will go through another General Election, i think its the only proper way now, i don't think any of these leaders look even half capable of leading a country, someone Text in to Sky news saying they all look like boys and a re a national disgrace, i agree with that, Clegg late last night came out of the Lib meeting with his party split and in a rage of a mood. It now needs credibility and it needs someone to stand up and show leadership, by stating OK, we can't find consensus, we can't find a middle ground we can properly work with, the labour party will have a new leader, the country deserves the absolute right to elect that leader, we will go again in the autumn, and let the people decide.

I'm sick of hearing this. He was with us in 2004-2005. Over 4 seasons ago!!! He has matured since then, he's had Premier League experience. And he's still one of the most distinctly average strikers you'll ever come across who's main notoriety is the London press and Sky, without which you'd never know he was there. I really do think we are entering a most extraordinary time in British political history. I thought and said the morning after the General Election the only sensible outcome would be, business as usual with Brown and Labour soldiering on until Sept/Oct and then we go into a pre dated General Election again, settle the matter and let the public make the decision as to who. We are now watching quite unbelievable maneuvering being played out before our very eyes. I could never see how a Lib/Con pact could work, they are naturally miles apart and have always been so in terms of political ideology the natural party of idea and belief has to be Labour as a partner in coalition, both progressive socialist parties. So what is Clegg doing, because in my mind he's walking a very fine line, almost trading one of the other, this could get dangerous and Clegg could end up looking like a right nana, but i just get the impression this guy knows exactly what he's doing and i almost get the feeling that something here is preordained, all of a sudden, Brown resigns at the very time Clegg announces " I want to talk to Labour" implying that the negotiating with the Tories isn't going as well as to be expected, i say that only because of the timing in terms of the Brown resignation. What am i getting at...................Could it be possible that as early as Friday morning when Brown seemed to very politely step to one side (which surprised me) without any fight to allow Clegg speak to Cameron, that in fact Brown and Clegg being political soul mates had already talked, already anticipated, made the decision that Cameron could be used as a Patsy to divert attention from the real agenda being a LIB/LAB pact, and that the passage of time would deflect any criticism regarding the fact that the Tories won the most seats. Could this potential pact between Brown and Clegg have been agreed long before the General Election and poor old Cameron has been nothing more than a punch bag. Lets not doubt for 1 second the capability of Gordon Brown, this is a man that pulled out of the fire a way of saving the UK banks early on a Monday morning 2 hours before the markets opened that was predicted to go into utter meltdown, the idea of injecting billions that stabilized the world banking system within minutes, it has since been said the UK would have been Bankrupt without that. I really do feel there is a lot more here than meets the eye, it all feels to processed and matey to me and all of a sudden Cameron looks sidelined and weak, not the kind of bloke that you would elect as a leader. For me there is only one fair way. Another General Election later in the year.
