  1. I have been buying Rod Stewart albums. My cut off will be Blondes have more fun, and I am yet to buy his solo debut. That said those albums have really been faultless. I have always had a liking of his pre 78 material and he does turn up in second hand record shops at a very good price.

Anyway this morning I played Smiler, Never a dull moment and every picture tells a story, the latter has possibly the best side of his career in it's B side.

Hunted isn't 'real' as in it's a straight game where what is shown is what happened and nothing is artificial, but everything is meant to be done within the realms of reality. Hacking a Facebook account I think might be pushing it, but if we assume the series gives the hunters the full extent of any power the police might have you can probably justify their hacking a social media account.

We quite like the series but it's hilarious how bad people are at it, and how much the show sometimes has to pull it's punches to let people have a chance of winning. Like, you're going on the run for a month, with limited cash, and at some point you're going to given an instruction to get to a specific place at a specific time to 'win' - you probably shouldn't go home, use a phone, especially to call close family, go anywhere near a big city or use a major train line, or contact anyone within your direct circle of friends and family. But all they do it.

Part of the rules is that they do actually make contact with home.

I keep meaning to investigate Frampton’s collaboration with the Bee Gees (and George Burns). Just to see for myself if it really is as bad as it supposedly is.

Sgt Pepper the movie if I recall correctly. As good as the Star Wars Christmas debacle.

I don't usually like to put things in here that are possibly received as "showing off" or "humble bragging", but my eldest son is on this years squad list for the Worcestershire Cricket Club under 10s and has his own stats pages and stuff set up.

I know its not that popular on here, but he loves his cricket and has been down to Kings College in Malvern most Sundays (the 8am-10am slots are killing us!) for winter training.  It's that exciting bit now before the season gets going and for him to be added to that page is such a nice little feeling.  I've added all the fixtures to our calendar and we're counting down the days until his first match.  Got to buy all the kit now (its not like football academies!) and become the second coming of Basil D'Oliveria (his grandson Ryan is a coach for my lad now)!

Even if he doesn't become a pro (and it's extremely unlikely he will!), then I hope he looks back at this phase of his life and is as proud as I am.

My dislike of cricket is outstripped by this, great news, and definitely something to be proud of.

There's a hook? It's anonymous generic bleepy shit. Could be anything - that stuff all sounds the same! (Yes, I'm well aware that that's what my parents said about The Beatles and Stones).

    I agree completely.

VT in hating incredibly popular song shocker

In all fairness it is absolutely ubiquitous but it doesn't really fully into the taste of more prolific music posters. I wouldn't bet my house that Mike and Rob have heard it but I suggest they have and it just didn't register.

15 seconds in for the hook.

Oh my. Just got 2 correct questions in a row on Only Connect, but also naming the specific final answer.

Surely you should get extra points for that?

It's a repeat so you lose points for that I'm afraid.

Truly baffled by why anyone would want to inhabit such a house. I mean, if that's what floats your boat, great,  but it looks like someone who ate a giant bag of confetti vomited and then offered free Anna Wintour haircuts and shower-curtains and old sweaters to clothe any takers.

I think it is called maximalist. My wife is really into but it hasn't crept in to our home yet.

It was the biggest thing that has ever been on TV in my lifetime and probably ever will be.

There was a workplace ‘Game of Thrones’ WhatsApp group to discuss it.

Prior to the final season, we had that predictions sheet that over 80% of my office filled in. Results were then logged on a whiteboard weekly. There was a prize for the winner.

On Tuesday mornings, people came into work early to discuss it. Even with staff coming in early, no work would get done until about 10am.

I knew lots of people who would avoid internet and entertainment channels between 2am and 10pm every Monday so they didn’t get spoilers from the 2am American airing until the Sky airing in the UK at 10pm.

This was happening in offices and countries all throughout the western world. You simply had to be part of it to understand it.

Who shot JR, so far in my lifetime that has been the biggest thing.
