ah but we cant gamble on young lower league players... heaven forbid, they may turn into earnshaw or ashton! (i think its a great idea personally... half a mil to a mil for a decent young player who is obviously a decent finisher, who could blossom into a superstar.... and if not, we wont have wasted loads...)

i think he is.. owen has the 'touch of a rapist'... vass has much better control and first touch but is let down by his finishing... i also think hes too nice.. he should be a little more selfish and he may score more...

i always thought and heard that laursen was quite slow... but he hasnt proven that to be correct from what iv seen... good to have some pace in the squad... just need some in the middle of the park now...

vass has always been quicker, stronger and more skillful than owen... its just the finishing that vass loses out to owen on and thats where strikers mainly get rated... i think vass is a superb player. he seems to have come back with real purpose and his form of late has been superb... long may it continue...

i agree, but the fact is, hes better than anything we have now creativity wise....

then maybe when the team are carrying on the way they are through no fault of theirs or the managers, and results continue to slip, you may actually start supporting the club too.... but then again, we have had 23 years of the same old shite and STILL some of you cant work out the one basic factor behind it all....
