One player will not get you to 5th - 8th. The core of team need to be capable of playing at that level and the spark of a special player helps to push u there. Our team did not look out of place in the top half

When Jack was in the team with Luiz, Traore and McGinn were we not playing in the top 6 to 8 positions. It was when Jack was injured we fell down to midtable eventually finishing 11th

I doubt very much that cash flow is something that we need to be concerned about.

There is still a week left. Offering a club a decent cash price for a player on the last days leaves them with little ability to negotiate and if we are happy with our squad as DS said then we can walk away if our bid is not accepted. We could pick up a player without getting ripped off. We also have quite a few players we could let go the opposite direction if a club needed a replacement

Its nice to be linked with good players now. I am so used to the links with crap players and trying to force myself to get excited. I am still waiting for an exciting last day of the transfer window watching SkySports outside Bodymoor telling us that we have 50 minutes left to get the paperwork submitted for a worldie signing. I get jealous watching other clubs doing this

I think there is about as much chance of signing Ronaldo as signed the two of them. Happy to be proven wrong. I would be happy with either of them but much happier with McKennie

The PL is big pull for players, more so than Germany. Also, Jack leaving for 100m to City will have also upped our profile. Players will see that we can be a potential stepping stone to the absolute highest level in world football

DM / CM but he can play right mid. I think he is more DM but he is a baller and quality. Would definitely improve our midfield in the starting XI

It does sound like shite but also, there is no way Ollie has a 50m release clause. We paid 28m/33m for him and he was 'only' a Champs striker and we gave him his break in the PL plus a hefty wage. He would have had little or no negotiating power after that

I can't imagine us accepting a bid of 50m, I would say we would want a lot more than that before it made us seriously consider it

He doesn't play anything like Davis and Davis is a striker so therefore Antonio is clearly not a striker
