Just woke up, saw 85-4 and thought…normal service has resumed, then properly awoke and realised that was the Aussies batting

Might be an interesting game ahead

England bowling very well in good conditions, much more interesting 😁 no one likes one sided contests

  2. Dawson’s Creaks

An informative documentary about new treatments for joint pain, body stiffness and osteoarthritis hosted by lanky former Spurs defender Michael Dawson who investigates his own ailing beanpole frame in a Michael Mosely-esque ‘I’ll be the Guinea pig’ fashion

    SBS Viceland 8:30 Thursday night

  3. Pinot and P&O with Pienaar.

ex-Everton mediocrity Stephen Pienaar takes us on a wine cruise visiting all the best vineyards of South Africa, all the while trying to negotiate a move to a new cabin that isn’t next door to a young family of 5 from Milton Keynes. Sub-plot, Stephen investigates who keeps shitting in the pool?

ABC (I no longer remember what content is specific to what channel there) ….whenever you wake up on the couch and think ‘wtf is this?’

A day/night game in Hobart is definitely going to be weird.

Unfortunately when it got moved from Perth the TV overlords demanded it retain its original time slot, hence it being a day/night test (as Perth is 3 hours behind the east coast)

Weird, weird decision. Tassie can be bloody cold (by our standards) so can’t think the players will be to happy once the lights come on and it drops down

I had shivers and 37.3 degrees last night. I feel absolutely fine today. Everyone else is also all clear, other than testing positive.

    Weird, weird virus.

Glad to hear you are feeling ok. I feel absolutely awful and haven’t slept pretty much since I got it but then again I have a few co-morbidities it’s really affecting. I dread to think how I would feel if I wasn’t all vaxxed and boosted up.

  6. The sad thing is just how utterly expected those decisions were, just numb to it at this point. Corrupt bollocks of the highest order. Good signs in places but the subs weren’t right or at the right time, doesn’t inspire much confidence having El Ghazi to come on late when you need the win against those shitbirds at home.

Hope they use this to absolutely batter them next week

Ive restarted saints row 4 on switch (as i never finished it on the ps3)

Have to say its not great. Saints row 2 and 3 were top games  but this ones weak which is a shame

Unfortunately Saints IV was originally just going to be a DLC for 3, it just got very visibly stretched to the barest point it could be released as a ‘full game’

What age is the youngest kid that could beat me up?

I’m pretty sure the hardest 14 year old in the world would pulverise me, but I’m fairly confident I could beat up every 4 year old.

Is it 11? Could a strong 11 year old teach me a lesson?

I have a friend who does MMA training and there is a 13 year old girl there who supposedly has a bit of a future who I’m sure without a shadow of a doubt would absolutely murder me. I’ve only ever been in one fight before HRT anyway and it did NOT go well for me so I’m pretty sure my number is in the single digits 😂

  9. On the topic of confectionery combos that don’t make any sense I got talked into trying one of those Reece’s peanut butter cups the other day and I don’t get the chocolate peanut butter combo AT ALL, dried my mouth and throat up horribly and tasted fowl…having said that sweets aren’t really my bag (diabetes probably plays a big role in that) but give me some nice fruit or berries any day

I don't think it was a dreadful decision to bat so long in the first innings, I guess it was just in case the England batters finally turned up, you never know. And actually Stokes, Bairstow and Wood did and we very nearly got 300. Imagine if Cummins had declared on 300, the game would have been in the balance and winnable for England.

Sorry, wasn’t trying to make it seem like that was the sole factor in the game and you are right they did get closer than was comfortable in the end which is a credit to the England bats but on the evidence of the previous tests and knowing the forecast I think you try to give yourself the best possible chance to bowl a struggling batting line up out early. Might have been a different result if the quicks could have bowled out too but it’s all academic now. Well played England and on to hopefully the best game of the series in Hobart 😁

Enjoyed S1 of the Boys and have just never gotten around S2, just as good?

Better IMO. Don’t want to spoil too much more than that for you but it really gets dialled up to 11.

Fun fact, my girlfriend works for the VFX company that did the lightning powers for a big character in S2. I’ve been lucky enough to get a little bit of gossip about S3 and see a few frames and it’s really looking great…look out for what strikes me as their warped take on Scarlett Witch (hard to tell as I’ve only seen like a second or two of footage, just going of costume) if you like a bit of over the top gore

  12. Started watching BoJack Horseman on Netflix without knowing too much about it expecting just a wacky adult animation to unwind with…three seasons in and **** me it gets properly dark hey? Brilliant writing and Will Arnett once again proves to be one of the most massively underrated comedy actors going around, the whole cast is bananas actually, Aaron Paul, Amy Sedaris, Allison Brie and a non stop rotation of top level cameos and recurring characters. Bonkers funny in some places but one of the best dramas behind that I’ve seen for a while too, somewhat glad I’m late for the party and don’t have to wait at all for any new seasons to come out.

Thanks for the responses guys. I’ve decided to let her back in. It was me who ended the relationship for a few reasons including my own mental health and I don’t feel it was fair on her.

My daughter has struggled to settle at my ex girlfriend’s parents house so I have to have her best interests at heart. Her mother has promised not to screw me over and tbf I trust her at present.

I suppose only time will tell.

I think that’s very reasonable on your part and you are doing the right thing for your daughter… FWIW as I have never been in a situation like that and can’t imagine the stress involved. I hope it all works out for the best for you and your little one

I’ve started a second run on red dead 2. What a gem of a game.

Worth playing through the whole thing all over again just to shoot that word removed Micah in the balls a few more times, surely one of the best most detestable villains in gaming history

  15. Very well played from England to grind out the draw and well deserved. Absolutely dreadful decision for us to bat so long in the first innings but hey-ho, young captain who will learn from it. The conventional wisdom is you always want a result but it’s hard to argue that ending wasn’t more exciting than pretty much the entire rest of the series from a neutral perspective.
