Loved Gerrard’s interview just now. No bullshit and doesn’t dodge questions. He knows what he expects from the players and leave them in no doubt what that is.

I’d drop the pair of them. Watkins needs too many chances to score and has the first touch of a rapist. Ings is a great finisher, but just doesn’t have the work rate to be effective in our system.

I think it spoke volumes that Gerrard recalled KKH and not Guilbert, and then put him straight in the match day squad today. I’d be giving the lad a chance now. I’ve never been a big fan of Cash due to his lack of football intelligence, dives in too much, poor passing/crossing. I can’t see him getting any better technically and I think he’ll be a bench warmer at best next season if he stays.

Great fight back. Buendia is growing in confidence and Ramsey who had an indifferent first half, showed he had the minerals to keep going in the second half. I felt sorry for Sanson as he had a decent game until that pass. Digne is a massive upgrade on Targett too. I’ve never been convinced about Cash and Watkins and I’m still not. As for Ings, he just doesn’t fit how we want to play. Personally, I’d be thinking about giving Archer a run of games up front now.

Hi all, so I did it eventually. After visiting this forum daily for about 8 years (maybe more) I’m guessing, I decided to finally join. I’ve seen a lot of people come and go, some for better and some for worse, but it’s always been entertaining and infuriating in equal measure, but we all have the same passion. I’ve seen a lot happen to this club over the years, I’m 45 years old so I’ve pretty much experienced all the highs and lows with some of you. Nothing really surprises me anymore. I used to go to every home game when I lived in Birmingham and later on, Walsall. I now live in Tewkesbury and a self employed artist so a lot of my time is now spent doing that. Roll on next season!
