Today is a fast Leon Bailey day

Once is a fluke, twice and he's meant it.

How do you lose to the Bolton reserves with that team?
Is this Bolton reserves? honestly I don't know. Hilarious if so.

Didn't take long to drag Kamera down to our level. We do it with every half decent player
-
Jesus Christ, tear it all apart and start again.

He phoned him up and Sarr asked what your philosophy is ,where do you see me playing, fitting in and what's your development plan for me.
Gerrard replied run through brick walls, not sure, and we don't do development plans, find your own way, Souness did and he was sensational.
Gerrard then remembered he needed to look Sarr in the eye and was like...shit, I can't over the phone.

Thomas Franks would be gettable surely. We just need someone who's shown they have tactical acumen and with a better budget can potentially take the next step.

Since he's come the teams we've beaten are Norwich, Burnley, Everton, Palace, Brighton, Leeds, Southampton, Leicester. Any manager could have done that.
Not once has he punched above his weight in terms of getting wins imo. It feels like he just wants a blank cheque to buy champions league players/top internationals to get us up the league but any **** can do that. As a manager you have to bring something to the table yourself...win games tactically, get players to overachieve or just build a system or style of play at the very least. I can't see anything.

What the hell does Lange do? Another signing any wally on football manager would make. I can think of Sanson and and Troare as more left field "potential value" signings and they were flops. There is very little imagination in our scouting.

I just can’t get excited about anything with this pitiful excuse for a manager in charge… not even new signings…
That's where I am.
I feel like we need to take stock and decide how we move forward without Gerrard instead of spunking 30 mill away on another player.
We paid a fortune to get him and his backroom team in and no doubt it will cost even more to get rid of them, we've commited to big contracts on his players, predominantly at a higher age bracket. It feels dangerous now going any further in with him.
-
He literally started the game with a cock up when he inexplicably played that pass to a palace player and then somehow managed to get worse. Awful.
-
Season **** because we need a CB and a centre mid in the next 10 days but we can't give him any money as we'll be sacking him early September.

No we shouldn't.
Yes we should, other teams do it even if to kill momentum, we don't have a player who gets in the face of the opposition bar Buendia. The bend over and take anything.
-
We really are soft as shit, rightly or wrongly we should have a couple of lads squaring up for them not kicking the ball out for Bailey.

Cash has been so wank. Now attacking ability no defence.
Bailey was literally next to him there just inside after Zaha was on his arse and he just pelts it at the fullback

Get Ramsey off ffs

The loaded question, in uh...question:
Sounds like a fairly standard question, no?
His response was to pivot to Leon Bailey who has started a game already this season.
Whether or not we want to do the standard villatalk pedantics and semantics, it's clear the question is framed as Buendia has done enough to start and you are not starting him. Yet the manager has given valid reasons why he hasn't started (this season) but those with an axe to grind won't have it.

Getting done on freekicks and corners again tomorrow. Won't win this one.
-
He's already put an explanation forward last week on Buendia. This was last Saturday.
“He was winning the race for a starting slot and he got a muscle injury in a behind-closed-doors against Fulham. He missed close to a week and his training performance was slightly off from where he was prior to the injury so we’ve been patient with him and haven’t felt the need to risk him and start him from the beginning because of the muscle injury which you don’t know about.
“So before you point stuff my way, you need to get the right information in tact. I think I’ve done the right thing with Emi which is to protect his health. We put him on today when the team needed energy and quality and he delivered. Nobody’s a bigger fan than Emi Buendia than me.”

Hilarious that this thread has barely any activity. He was brilliant today, hence why it has barely no activity.
