We need to know if Olsen can do the job if (please no) Martinez gets injured. It would be irresponsible to try him in the league in the position we are in ATM, the cup is the best opportunity.
If he can't cut it then we need a stand in keeper brought in ASAP.
We will go through on penalties and Olsen will be the hero
You just reminding me that this can go to pens and we will have a certifiable beast of a shootout keeper sat on the bench makes me even sadder.

Positives, half of United's team is Van De beek, Mctominay, Fred. Maguire and Lindelof

Both surprised and so disappointed by that side. Especially the keeper. I didn't see that one coming, ah well.

Goal all started from cash getting turned too easy on the half way. Man U target him 2nd half.

Christ, you boys are amateurs.
They are clearly delaying any coverage until tonight so they can get the viral "Good Ebening " post.

It's like saying an attacking coach is shit because Ollie can't finish.
The fact that he keeps surviving regimes suggests he might have something about him.
With what he has to work with hes doing a good job.
We were 7th in the prem last season for goals from setpieces (with 12). When you consider Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal were top 3 in that stat (which i would argue is by virtue of dominating games and getting more opportunities) it isn't a bad outcome to be in top 4 of the rest. We were only 2 behind West Ham who had a total different profile of player to us.
We were a lot worse when it came to conceding (14th) which makes sense as the innovation 'edge' is lot less defensively and its harder to work around having a team of players who struggle to jump when the winds blowing.

Tactically he will paper over cracks and manage to get functional performances out of that 11 even against top half teams. He'll even get the dross to resemble decent footballers and compete with top level players but..under no circumstances should anyone be fooled that the likes of Watkins,Cash,Konsa,Mcginn et al are even close to being good players. Load of run around merchants.

In terms of technical ability, has to be easily the worst player to ever play week in week out for this club. In recent memory the likes of Reo Coker and Cuellar were bad but at least they were defensive players.

Can't be stressed enough. The protocols aren't good enough, but I'd expect better from medical staff.
The protocol decision tree forks off in two directions at "Is he one of our best players?"

Watkins needs to be replaced asap, a big part of why we are so 'snatchy' in attack is because everytime he gets the ball it's like life or death as to when he can bring it down/trap the ball.

An Austin McPhee set piece special and 45 mins of pure unadulterated Danksball. It was all there under our noses.

My apologies to Johan Lange

I actually think it takes a while for the fans at games to turn on managers. They are quite patient with that imo. In games though, the passive moaning and groaning that creeps in if we aren't creating anything early doors is bad. Also, we are a bunch of flappers who for some reason shit ourselves when we are 2-0 up and a team pulls a goal back (more so then we when we are 1-0 and a team equalises!) That kind of stuff transmits to the players.

I mean the club isn't been run correctly and we've spent 400 mill on a load of dross. What exactly is the issue with this comments?

Losing Beale. Loving McGinn. Being one of those strange people who are unable to see that Ollie Watkins is a **** woeful footballer.

Shocking. After seeing his interview in the summer I pinned all my hopes on him being a tactical rainman cos he came across as dull deer in the headlights. On the bench he seemed to show the same level of dynamism.

I think the fact we are shite at set pieces is because it's basically Tyrone Ming's vrs whatever number of aerial threats the opposition has.
