The fat lady ain’t even in the building,do you honestly believe those toe rags in east London will pay that?Think there is more chance of Palace or Villa signing him.

  2. Couldn’t be happier for him great example for young players to get their heads down a train hard. His attitude is brilliant he don’t get involved in any verbal nonesense and his disciplinary record is exceptional and very important as you don’t want to lose a top striker through suspension. On a selfish level the 6 mill add ons must be looking very achievable.

Well he looked pretty handy the other night.  Will he play today?  Maybe he’ll be getting promoted with you after all.

He’s on the bench today don’t think he’s match fit yet,Yes maybe would be great for us to be playing at Villa Park next season

After his average play off final he was apparently overrated according to some in here.

Now he just had a good game and now he is suddenly good enough..

    Very reactionary :P

I've been very consistent on Benrahma. Wanted him for a long, long time. He gives us a lot of quality and creativity, would release some of the pressure off Jack.

His agents are giving him bad advice in demanding ridiculous wages that will stop him moving on.If he stays in this window he will need to show he can repeat his stats of last season that were impressive which will be good for us if not his value will go south rapidly.

  5. With 12 moths left I will expect his agent has come up with a compromise on his monies due with the knowledge that he has a deal in place with another club that at a guess will be Spanish.

Strange. You would think someone would take him on loan if we paid 75% of his wages or something. Surely cheaper than just termination.

I don't know how these things work. Maybe we don't pay off 100% of his outstanding wages.

Was a strange decision to give him time in the cup on Thursday though.

  6. I suppose we were lucky to see the best of him in the championship which is his level.Have great memories of him in both periods he was with us.Never forget his last minute winner against Fulham.Sadly he chose the route to Small Heath after saying he would only leave us for a Premier League side but the daw of money and dodgy Arry ruined any dream of that.Would think his ideal move would be back to Spain for personal and career reasons.I wish him all the best for the future even though the manner in how he departed left a bad taste for many of our fans.

I think most Villa fans would doubt that given Brentford signed Pontus but I know most Bees would say he's a different kind of dickhead ;)

I’d say border line now but 100% when at the European champions

Not sure if this has already been spoken of but what is Said like as a character? good lad?

Seems to be an essential that they will be part of our family and get on with everyone.

Don’t know him but we do have a no dickheads rule so I presume we carried out a character reference before he signed.I am surprised that he hasn’t kicked his toys out the pram as he hasn’t got his dream move but been told he’s desperate to get back playing and was very vocal on the sidelines Saturday encouraging the team before coming on.He gets on very well with Oli who is a model professional.

I tend to politely disagree with you on this.. at the level that Benrahma is/was playing, for him to make the step up and justify the possible price tag, I think he should be turning up in ALL of your big games, otherwise.. its too big of a gamble and at 25, he is no kid. I do think he has quality, we payed 10 million too much for Watkins, we cant afford another gamble like that.

Also, don't get it twisted.. Jack ALWAYS turns up when the pressure in on. 'Pressure is a Privilege'

I wonder how Jacks stats stack up against Benrahma’s in his last season in the championship.Jack is no doubt a far better player but the championship as you know is a very tough league.Im sure in time you will see Watkins and Konsa will be worth far more than you paid for them.

Why is it great news for you? He hasn’t been featuring in the team has he so far?

He has had an injury and also had to self isolate after returning from France.played  20 minutes Saturday and in the squad tonight.Great news because we will still have one of the best performing players in the championship last season.

after watching Brentford's last few games, when the pressure was really on, he didn't turn up. for the money Brentford would want... No Thanks.

Could say that about many good players including Jack but players are judged and valued on more than 2 games.

Looks like Brentford will be starting second season in a row losing 1-0 against SHA. Same lacklustre way they finished last season, need to sort out what's happening with Benrahama and get some more creativity into their team as Toney isn't the sort of striker who can create goals by himself.

    Back on track today 👍
