    Wasn't it Gary Player who said "The harder you work the luckier you get" Maybe we just need to work harder? I hope we finish above the blues - the fact that it is in serious doubt is alarming! One positive might be they've played more at home than we have so if we win our home matches we might stand a good chance.

    I agree Demitri blues are over-achieving and we are under performing. So McLeish is getting the absolute maximum out of his bunch of players while Houllier is doing the opposite. Great!

    Putting our performance into some kind of perspective Blackpool have lost EIGHT out of their last NINE matches!!!

    The only positive I can find is at least we won't see Petrov getting knackered in about 10 minutes! Also, Blackpool do concede a lot of late goals. The problem is we concede a lot of early and late goals!

    It is the same as normal. The defence conceding and looking awful at defending set pieces. We play some pretty stuff until we get to the final ball. The changes Houllier needs to make are obvious and have been for along time. Groundhog day.
