So then, who's this knob-jockey bloke and where does he play?
Please stop this. My mind is an overheated frenzy of double entendres such as playing for the opposition, playing at the back, preferring it in the hole etc, etc...

Hang on a second. I'm 5ft 10 it's not that short
So am I. Longstanding joke on the Elphick thread when someone mentioned he wasn't that tall for a centre back. 3 posts later he was 3ft 6. Take a look back through that thread - there's a height joke on most pages.

Peter **** crouch . Jesus h Christ I thought things were bad but that bad?
On a positive note he'd stand a chance of reaching one of Hutton's crosses.

Wouldn't be the first I would let go as he is marginally less shit than some. Wouldn't be fussed at 5m though.
That seems to be the consensus on most of these player threads: he's less shit than some.
With a few exceptions our squad is fifty shades of shit.

That's the guy Ho not Hu.
Judging by some of the tweets coming from Tony's account, I suspect he goes by the full name of Gung Ho.

Why does he hate us?
Why is he a monumental bell-end?
He's a monumental bell-end because he hates us.

What, like Derren Brown?
No more illusionists thanks. We've already got Micah Richards who's made a career out of fooling people that he's a professional footballer.

I'm not sure a mentally unbalanced Morrison is the answer. However of course there is a need for more quality in that position.
I was against the idea of Morrison but as the season approaches and the need for new blood gets urgent, I'd take a mentalist.

However, from the 1st half I've just watched he has tracked back, swapped sides effectively with Grealish, been up and down the pitch with some good 1-2's and set up a goal. I'd say if Grealish had done that he would have praise lavished on him.
New season new chance as far as I'm concerned with no blinkers on....
This is welcome news. I always knew there was a quality player in there somewhere.

Some bitterness on here imo. Was one of our better players last season by some distance.
I'm I particularly bothered? Not really.... I kind of want to forget all about last season but let's not kid ourselves that his exit hasn't made us weaker.
Well I for one am bitter. Had high hopes for him but has been an ineffectual waste of money for the most part, questionable attitude and jumps ship when it goes t*ts up. I still believe there's a half decent player in there and Everton may well get to see that. That's why I'm bitter.

The signing of a Villa player caused the troubles in Ireland?

He'll do really well at Everton. That's about the level he is currently at. Will be interesting to see how his career unfolds from there.
He's clearly one that polarises opinions. He may well do well at Everton but for me he did nothing last season to suggest he's at their level. By all accounts he wasn't even at Telford's level last week. Hugely frustrating.

And not forgetting Bacuna. We really do have an embarrassment of riches at right back.
Well maybe without the riches bit.

*cover...... well if im buying him all to myself best ship him over here my gutters need painting and the Mrs has been on at me to do it.
The painting the gutters but I get, but I'd draw the line at paying for Micah Richards to do it with my Mrs. Not into all that kinky stuff.

As for Gana he certainly wasn't great, but unlike any of our other CM's he has an actual thing he's good at.
I disagree. Most of them excel at being totally anonymous.

Ok, I wasn't aware of that.
for my part, always rated him as a player and more importantly as a man/ human being.
Stan has gained much support for his illness and rightfully so.....but even if he never had the illness.....He is a top man and so is his devoted wife Paulina.
Is Stan's wife from Thailand?

Not going to Marseille according to Gregg Evans, and RDM wants to keep him. Marseille looking at Sanchez for 3m instead. Marseille don't have the cash for Gana apparently.
Well, maybe not Marseille.

So far so good in terms of incomings.
Potentially a top class goal keeper and defensive midfielder as well as a proven centre back who will lead us.
I'd be delighted if we got Gunter, lotus cheek and Bamford as the next three!

That's a huge swing in odds. To ensure this happens, I've lust lumped £30 on him to join Norwich. Expect the "It's Happening" / South Park jizz posts very shortly.
