This is all very well but what does his next car look like? Until I have seen that tweeted I will reserve judgement.

Bournemouth will be naffed off that they've already used him in the publicity photos for their new away kit

Bournemouth fans seem to be full of praise for him.
' From the Villa forum regarding, Tommy of the subject of Jack Grealish'
(And then they quote my previous post.)
Clearly a well respected player amongst their fans, sounds like a breath of fresh air compared to our current shower.
Very nice to see a fans forum with such reasonable, balanced and articulate views (much like this forum I might add), including acknowledging that we are a big club.

I like the way he holds himself. I have a good feeling about him. He just seems like The Boss.
Do you think he holds himself better than Joachim Low?

In fact, Wikpedia says he plays for Aston Villa.
Will be pleased if this comes off.
I've just read his wiki page.
He sounds like such a grade A pr*ck, he easily eclipses anything we currently have at the club.
No thanks.

Incidentally, whenever I type Bacuna, auto text tries to change it to Vagina.
I'm sure there is a message there....
It's your keyboard's predictive text suggesting words that you type regularly, so the message is about your browsing history

My optimism is the highest it's been for years where Villa are concerned.
RDM - good
Steve Clarke - it's getting better
Billionaire owner - happy days!
Throw in Mr Muscle, who will love the jobs everyone else hates and it's got to be good times ahead.

There aren't many where I'd want us to dig our heels in and try to keep them, but Amavi and Ayew are two where I would.
Whilst Amavi's potential is huge he's not yet the finished article and in some ways is still a bit 'raw'. He might only be a bit part player at Liverpool for a while at least and I think he'd be better placed giving it another season or at least a part of a season with us while he continues to develop.
But money talks and with big names sniffing around it could be difficult to hold on to him. Hopefully he'll give Benteke a ring, see how well it's working out for him up there.

Are you saying that you can't be a moron if you're a Villa fan?
Wait till Derby day mate, you'll see hundreds of pricks..
You might see some unreasonable Villa fans too...

Excellent news. I think I'm actually more pleased about our assistant manager than the manager himself!
Never mind 'Sheikh of the Muscles', I'll be having my own private shake of the muscle over this news.

Is it really that hard to 'build a squad'? Obviously if the club hasn't got a pot to piss in then it requires lots of skill, but we should have enough money to make it fairly simple to get players in. The key is tactics and man management which Di Matteo seems relatively good at.
I guess the key is how quickly it gels and works as a unit. Teams like Newcastle and Derby who don't face rebuilding on a large scale are likely to click into gear sooner and we could lose valuable ground on them if we have wholesale changes, no matter how good the players.
As last season's shower of sh*te showed, building a squad can go horribly wrong.

You might get these two solid pros. Mind you, I bet even these have had more clean sheets than Lescott and Richards.
My bad - picture of two fat prostitutes failed to load

Regardless of who was the worst, it's Lescott that's disappointed me the most this season. I never liked him before we signed him; there was a certain arrogance about him and his over exuberant celebrations when he scored against us, considering he was supposedly a Villa fan, wound me up big time. And I never liked the way he lookd like a Lego character with his hair stuck on lopsided. I realise he can't help the last of those points.
I thought when he signed that it was a chance to redeem himself. But no. Poor on the pitch and a total knob off it. He exemplifies all that is wrong with the modern day footballer.

I'd take that over accusations of players being total dickheads when pictures emerged of them seeing how far they could spit chewing gum from the bench.

It will end in tears. Not a strong enough manager for the c*^ts in our squad
Hopefully the c*^ts in our squad will be shipped out. His CV is good, I'm cautiously optimistic (that term's been used a lot lately) about next season.

If our new owners are serious about Promotion, Becoming an established Top six Premier league club and then Competing/Challenging in Europe.
Someones been on the Crystal Meth if they think one off RDM, Pearson, Bruce, Martinez is gonna take to new bright **** sunlit uplands!
We are damaged goods at the moment and beggers can't be choosers. That's been stated before. We can worry about Europe if and when we achieve our shorter term objectives. The next manager needs to do that and I can see pros and cons with most of the candidates in the frame.
Pep Guardiola might be interested in us in a few years time but until then...

I wouldn't be surprised if they announce the new manager at 28th day, as AFAIK number 8 symbolizes luck or good fortune to the chinese.
New owner will be wanting to change Idrissa Gueye's squad number for next season then.
Do you give Gabby/Lescott/Richards/Bacuna/Guzan a second chance?

Publicly at least, RDM was always going to say that everyone starts with a clean slate. It would have been unprofessional of him to do otherwise. He was never going to say that there is a hardcore of 4 or 5 complete rocket polishers at this club who will be out on their ears if anyone's daft enough to have them.
But he's already said he needs to trim the squad (hopefully with a chainsaw) and he must already have an idea of those he wants out. I trust him and Clarke to weed them out, and I'll get behind whoever stays.
