  1. Stan's opening statement talks about decresed chances of a cash rich billionaire buying the club; have FFP rules been seriously amended or does Stan have no clue what they mean?

They've won the last five/six of the quizzes (including a 30 out of 30).

Before that? They hadn't won it in the previous 18 months that I've been going. ;)

Didn't win for 18 months then gets perfect scores? Might be me being cynical but sounds like someone starting using their phone.

D'Onofrio steals series 1. They said at the time it was as much an origin of Kingpin as it was Daredevil and everyone rolled their eyes a bit, but it absolutely is. He takes a slightly silly but important villain and embodies him. It's a great interpretation of a slightly broken man who has become this barely contained raging bully. I'm really hopeful we see more of him. Even if you immediately think of E'gar from MIB - sugar, water. Morr. Morr ;)

I think the whole show has been brilliantly cast, apart from Elektra. I don't rate Elodie Yung. She does a decent job with the character (and she does get better so don't be surprised if your opinion changes) but she's not a great actor, and she's playing a really divisive role - people think Daredevil either improves in her absence or they think it really isn't Daredevil without her. I'm in the former group, she's a rubbish character and always has been. So Yung is lumbered with a crap character she can't play very well from my perspective. Bernthal smashes the part, Cox is a really good Murdoch and Daredevil, etc etc.

You should consider Jessica Jones afterwards. It's a different type of show, but really good with another brilliant villain.

I'm on episode six of season two and think Punisher was very good and a lot better then I expected. Not convinced by Elektra yet and I'm finding Karen annoying (but fit).

Kingpin was fantastic, really stole season one.

Jessca Jones is very good and David Tennant was fantastic in it.

Those teams are well run. We aren't.

Blackburn once rejected Zidane as they had Sherwood. There are many good players who have been rejected by clubs and gone on to be successful.

Sheffield Wednesday released Vardy when he was 16 and he's doing alright this season.

Besides what do we lose on taking this gamble? Doubt this has cost us much.

So I obviously didnt end up going Stockholm for the stag as didnt seem like a stag place. i am now considering taking  a girl I am seeing for her birthday for 2 nights in April. Found flights and hotel for the Hilton Stockholm Slussen in city center for £275 for both of us which is quite cheap. Is Stockholm a good place for couples? And is two nights enough?

When in April are you going? The Swedish celebrate Valborg on April 28th to May 1st and it is the end of winter celebrations. If you are there at that time I would strongly suggets getting the train up to Uppsala, which is about 30 miles north and an easy train ride. I lived there for a year and it is the student capital of Sweden (don't let that put you off) and the town goes crazy for Valborg (fancy dress boat races, street parties, concerts and tonnes of beautiful women in a party mood). It is something I will never forget and strongly recommend experiencing.

Bought myself a Texas bar today, while my gyms pretty good having racks/trap bars/loads of plates/their commercial bars are kind of crap. Going to leave it there for when I lift

Damn! I didn't realise bars could go for £365. Have you used one before?

Do you have somewhere safe to leave it at the gym? Be a shame if you had to wait to use it or if someone stole it.

Absolutely detest her, everything about her makes me angry. I especially hate how she talks, as in her mouth....I know that's rather specific but even so.

My wife bates her more than I do and strangely hates her mouth too. I never noticed it until she pointed it out but she spends about 90% of every film with her mouth hanging wide open.

I just went looking for a clip to advertise this and found a Guardian article and Facebook page dedicated to it.

    15th (hired in March, won 4, drew 1, lost 4 of 9), 7th, 17th, 4th, 11th, 6th, 5th, 5th, 8th, 7th, 7th

    "A number of relegation fights"

"Very inconsistent in where they finished"

    Yeah, ok :D

First first seasons he was there they alternated between top half and bottom half, I'd call that inconsistent.

  9. Might try it come summer once the rugby season ends as just seen that it needs a five day schedule. I don't like to train Friday's or Sunday's as playing 80 minutes on the Saturday takes its toll.

  10. I think I misread the intro and focused on the squat every workout and assumed it was same for everything. Was going to read it in full if people said it was worth doing.

Squat three times a week does sound a lot though.
