Just woken up
What's the score and how long to go?
3-3, two minutes to go, and Tim Howard is the commentator.

In all seriousness, nice to see us basically playing our U-21s for thirty minutes. Some excellent players there. Kellyman is unreal for a 17 year old. Plays like a 20/21 year old.

Is Tim Howard your dad or something?

How is Revan's name pronounced?
In the native Brummie accent, “Ruvun”.

You need a lie down mate. There are bigger clubs than Villa at this moment in time, get over it.
It’s 1:20am, I am lying down.

Is he wrong? He’s complimenting our player. Jeez.
He’s perpetuating the narrative that we only exist to feed others.

What has he said wrong exactly?
“Ollie Watkins, it won’t be too long until a big team looks at him. Villa would do very well to keep hold of him.”
Prick.

Buendia is playing as well as the Cleveland Clinic.

You know... jumpers for goal posts, three and in, rush goalie, one boy's gone home for his tea... isn't it? Hmm, you know, marvellous.
Heat stroke?

The sort of defending I’m used to seeing with jumpers for goalposts.

Konsa playing like a man who knows his place isn’t guaranteed.

He’s firmly on the right wing here. Has had a couple of nice runs, including two where he showed initiative to get it more centrally and get shots off. One was deflected wide for a corner, one reasonably easy for the keeper, but both struck well. He looks a teeeeeny bit lost at sea but that’s expected, and maybe I’m over-reading it. Overall doing well after 35 mins. Good enough for the League Cup and Europa Vauxhall Conference League, you’d imagine.

Once again we are in the exact same range I have talked about for many weeks. That £30m to £40m range plus add ons is where we are as a club.
This is what I was lead to believe months ago and why I keep refuting claims we will spend £150m and smash transfer records with £60m signings.
There’s thousands of posters on this site, so apologies here, but what do you think our transfer budget it? What else are the agents telling you?

I can't believe we've been linked with well over 500 players!
I heard Lucas Digne was on 160,000 links a week.

Alan Thompson also had a few hammers in him I seem to recall?

That’s not a bad record for a midfielder of his style is it? McGinn for example has 10 goals in about 130 (?) PL appearances. And Hitzlsperger played those games between the ages of 19-23ish - very much the early days of his career…
And every single one of them hammered in from at least 60 yards out. What a player Hitz was.

One argument for Brexit was the Global Britain brand, in all its rocket polisher glory focusing on the whole world rather than Europe. Beat ‘em at their own game they said. Get the best of the best they said.
Meanwhile, in the real world…
My American Green Card cost about $7k all in. I think the equivalent cost for Irish visas is about €800. Now the UK are making it £20,000. The Tories are intentionally making it very, very difficult for normal high-skilled people to move to the UK.
Let’s call a spade a spade. Brexit has always been about making Britain white again.

surely o'reilly can get a loan to a league 1 side? He looks great on the ball.
Born the same week as Jhon Duran. Needs to be performing at Championship-level very soon.

They’re the same age really (only a dew months apart) but Saka was starting Premier League matches 3 or 4 years ago. I doubt JPB will ever play for England.
