Bruce is quite insistent about Jedi at CB isn’t he? 

Bruce said there would be changes for this one: maybe we will so see Thor for Whelan.

I hope to see Tuanzebe at CB. Doubting it. 

Does anybody know anything about Joe Worrall the CB at Forrest with whom we’re linked?

I certainly think that the new owners should be proud to embrace this sort of thing. Whether that means renaming a stand (though it’s probably be the North Stand) or celebrating important figures in our club’s history, we should really push this more.

Having said that, the club also needs to be realistic and accept sponsorship opportunities on stands, too. It’s a tough balancing act but I’d really like to see the owners make a statement.

How much does McGinn earn a week? What if that stamp would have ended his career? How much money could that stamp have been worth?

I know it’s a bit of a hackneyed argument but kids are watching this stuff. We think we celebrate great skilful platers but we actually protect unprofessional thugs. You can’t defend this. RDL got the same length of ban for Antwerp for flipping off the referee. Bad but not likely to end the ref’s career. 

Having read so much about Brentford’s ‘ethos’, I’d expect them to condemn his behaviour.

My take is that Bruce knows Tuanzebe needs games so he’s giving him time at RB to acclimatise while RDL is suspended.

What I’m hoping to see is RDL come back, Tuanzebe move into the centre within Chester and Hutton to continue on the left (in the absence of a new signing at LB).  

As folks on here have said before, Bruce has no time for Elphick so, with is so light at centre half, I can only assume Bruce sees Tuanzebe going there. 

Bruce was talking about one of those Madeline cakes that has a hole in the middle. The man’s a cake connoisseur.

Please read this post. Don’t be tempted to hoover up all the attacking players (and then convert them to RBs).

I still can’t understand a former centre half can’t organise or inspire confidence in his defensive players.

I want more than a goddamn 3 match ban. His was an act of such petulance, doing that to a superior professional, it warrants a far bigger punishment.  

The fact he scored what may be the winner just creams my corn.

I hope that goal f-ing  tasted good you word removed. He should be banned for 6 months

Need to keep doing what we were doing in the offensive half. Can’t allow the goal to shake our defence further 

First time they’ve connected their passes. 

Has Bruce been ill this week? An oddly energetic performance so far (contrary to my gloomy prediction).

This is the best scenario with that line up. You can trust that Bruce will not play it.

I despair. Jedinak is not a centre half.  Tuanzebe is not a right back. No team needs both Whelan and Jedi.

Where’s the f-ing dynamism going to come from? Is Bruce looking for a pay off from the new owners by playing the most boring , ineffective football on the planet? The contrast with Brentford’s free-flowing football will be embarrassing. He wants out.

CB, CF and RW are priorities. Worried that Bruce said after last night's game that there are 'one or two' irons in the fire. It was at least three before the Wigan game. Maybe Snoddy is a no go, now.

While I want Bruce to build a sustainable squad, I don't think a loan CB will help him (unless it's a loan to buy). Go in for Huth as a short term fix, then box clever in January or the summer for a long-term CB. 

The way Bruce is setting the team up, perhaps he needs more of a target man up top than a man like Abraham (who I assume is a speedster). Last night, it showed that Bruce will continue to bypass the midfield even when a player like RHM is up front. 

We came, we saw, we won. Oh and we made it look damn difficult on the way. 

No cohesion in the team or any tactical nous. No movement until the final quarter of the match. Nevertheless, the boost Jack provided has got us out of jail.

Also interesting to see a little bickering between Elphick and RDL. Maybe it’s because they care. Maybe it’s a rare insight into the group dynamics of Bruce HQ.
