His commitment to playing around at the back, even when we are under pressure we keep doing it, sometimes it bites us but he persist. He knows that if we can get the players to do it well, under pressure , then we have a winning formula.
It would be easy to abandon it in certain games but he persists, he teaching the players to be better and he's also educating the fans, it's unbelievable tbh.

He's not here to win any popularity contests that's for sure and that's probably why he's here tbh, to deflect some of the criticism on some difficult decisions that will have to be made.

Gave up on that after a couple of episodes.
Then again, I didn't think Shogun was THAT good. I enjoyed it, a solid 8/10, but 'best thing on TV atm'? Nah. Mrs M even said she preferred the Chamberlain version. (I wouldn't go that far).
Ripley, on the other hand - masterpiece.
Ripley was OK but, spoiler alert
SpoilerWhy didn't anyone look at a photo for a missing person, it got ridiculous.

If you like Shogun, try Marco Polo on netflix.

Pretty sure it’s been confirmed that the suspension stands. You can’t appeal yellows unless it’s really exceptional circumstances, the ref being a bit crap isn’t going to be enough of a reason for UEFA to open up a one-off yellow card appeals process just for us.
Haven't read anything from UEFA, sky said they had heard from a contact in UEFA but nothing since then and no statement from them, yet.

I think the market has changed due to the FFP, I can't see Palace getting £60m for either of them, who can afford to pay it and stay within FFP? Maybe Arsenal, Spurs. With the lack of competition for them their price will be lower.

Where we are now and how well we are managed makes a huge difference as well, players will see how Rogers has been given a big chance and his sudden improvement and think I want a piece of that.
When a club like 'the new us' comes in for a player they will be in their managers door saying I want to go, European games, top 4 challenging and a dream manager/coach.

We need a bigger ground to ease the pressure on ticket prices and allow space for more prawn sandwiches to be served, its that simple.

Nice. I love the bit where Appleton says that he had a small side and didnt know how to mark the oppo effectively and Rogers said ' put me on the biggest player and i will do the job ' . He was 18 years old then. Bodes well . As he isnt just big. He is also strong for his size and knows how to use it.
Can see emery doing his homework on him and then asking Mark Harrison about his time with him at the baggies, sounds like another player with a great attitude, it's a clever way to recruit.
I think it may also help us with departures, poor attitude and you will be pushed out.......chuck

Nice write up on him from sky
The signing of the January window? How Morgan Rogers hit the ground running at Aston Villa to propel their top-four push, with exclusive insight from Michael Appleton, the man who gave the 21-year-old attacking player his Football League debut…

Reckon half the ground will be joining you, should make for great atmosphere, reckon the fans will push us through this to get a decent result. UTV.
Great idea on the coach really set the atmosphere up on Sunday, players looked well happy, like a cup final

I didn't call YOU defeatist at all...it was the rhetoric on the thread...
It was someone else who made the comment about third yet you didn't go after them like you did me; I merely agreed with them that it would be nice....
Liverplop could implode, likewise Villa are on a good run...it's possible....

When was the last Time Liverpool lost 2 homes games in a row.......we're not watching a Good Liverpool team, we are watching a team collapse.

Lets just see how west ham get on against lpool Saturday. I watched the Liverpool, Everton game and Liverpool had some chances but Everton outplayed them, wanted it more all over the pitch. LPools heads dropped. West Ham is not the place to go to with a poor attitude.
Then they play spurs at home, I so hope I'm wrong and they beat Spurs but watching them. It going to be close.
I'm not saying its going to happen I'm saying it could happen, saying it's not going to happen is just.........

Mad to think that when Spurs kick off we’ll have played 3 more games than them… I mean, for a team with no Europe, and not in the cups, that shouldn’t really happen should it!? I think from our point of view it’s lovely to pile pressure on an opponent, but from the PL’s point of view it’s rubbish really and shouldn’t happen
It's wrong, it's a good job we have won our last 2 games, we could have been in a position where spurs would know exactly what they have to do, as win , draw etc.
As things have turned out we have put pressure on them but we still have European games sandwiched amongst premier league games to come.

Stopped the shouts of "get rid of it!" think half the fans are a little lost when we are passing it around at the back being harassed by the high press.
