    I think it is a fair opinion, it would be odd to have 3 left footed centre backs out of 4. I also think it would be an odd signing anyway, I read earlier he is on 8 million euros per year, it wouldn't do our squad cost any good getting him on a free and it wouldn't be easy selling a 31 year old centre back for a decent price who has been out for a season next summer either. I don't see it at all

    In my opinion that is just hyperbole he isn’t the best midfielder in world football, he isn’t easily replaced but we have a manager and director of football who will work in tandem to improve the squad to increase the output of the team as a whole. tbh I think fans like you don’t get the benefits of selling say 3 players for that sort of price over a 5 year period if the owners want to invest it would completely transform us into champions league challengers every year

    I wouldn’t. If we sold him for 120m it’s almost pure profit that allows you to buy a few hundred million pounds worth of players. the occasional massive sale would do wonders for our buying power. if the owners want to put that kind of money in. If.
