You can't forget that Fury was in control up to rnd nine, imo.

Horrendous atmosphere considering there is apparently 20k in the building and 5k Brits. Desperado.
I was thinking about going out for the Bertebiev v Bivol fight until it was postponed but probably not based on this tbh. It's hardly going to become the fight capital of earth at this rate.
Ain't they supposed to be bringing their promotions over these shores?

Yeah, and the fact most of the people there aren’t interested in boxing.
I suppose it will take time. It's only lately, as a Country, they have started to take a lead in the promotion of sports that generate crowds and, more importantly, viewers.

Cordina was very flat footed and stood in the pocket far too long at times. Pretty poor game plan from the off tbh. I thought he'd be slicker and box but choosing to go into a firefight was the worst decision he could've made. Got caught with the same shots over and over too(uppercut and righthand around the guard). Very poor performance.
Sounds like the usual clanger of underestimating an opponent.

As usual, there’s more atmosphere at a funeral
Says a lot about alcohol.

Same.
As a huge Springsteen fan, especially the Darkness>River>Nebraska era, I just pray they don’t screw it up
I'm tempted to go to You Tube and watch him performing, Stolen Car, live.

Going to get in the canoe and, find a safe stream to row on.

Really good win for Cacace. Far too strong and relentless for Cordina.
Gotta say, that as surprised me. Maybe the weight an issue? Or maybe Cordina just not as good as some thought.

He’s in talks regarding playing Springsteen in a biopic about the making of Nebraska
I could actually see him, playing the Boss in his younger days.

The new Dr Who is absolutely frigging awful. Heavy handed, badly written, no substance and trying too hard.
Ain't watched it since John Pertwee left the role.

Going from Stranger Things to The bear. It's like going from daylight to night. The guy who plays Bear really does bring an intensity to that role.
-
I'll just come put with it. The end of season 3 of Stranger Things had me crying like a baby.
That's better!!

In what way?
The fact it was in the Mall. You didn't have them here, in indoor shopping centres, in the 80s.

Stanger Things, "Never Ending Story," absolutely brilliant.

It was. It was a crap performance and should have kept out at least two of the goals. Neither here nor there now but we can do better as a no. 2
That still doesn't compare to the relegation side or the Bradford debacle.

Watching Stranger Things I realised, the cinemas in 80s America were like ours are today.

goalkeeper needs to be commanding and confident and instil that confidence in others, and for all that he's a decent enough shot-stopper, Robin simply doesn't do that.
That about sums up the case for the prosecution.

Olsen after Olympiacos is in the same bracket.
It really isn't.

I wish just one pre - season that we refused to go to Walsall, just to be spiteful.

we think he wasn’t ready? Any chance they got it delayed on purpose? I’m curious even though it’s irrelevant.
Wouldn't surprise me in the least. Fury is far too experienced and clever, in a boxing sense, too underestimate Usyk.

My tit of an uncle refused to go earlier saying that it would never sell out so we went normal time and find the gates locked
That's "Uncles" for you.

Irrelevant now.

This has been a fairly special season for many reasons. Let's finish it off in style. Hopefully by tonight (Tuesday) Man City will have sealed our place in the Champions League. If not, then we have a job to do.
On a related note, after last night's 3 goals, this is now our 5th most prolific season in our history. 4th in the top flight (74/75 was tier 2). A couple of goals against Palace and we'll match the '74/75 effort.
I remember that 74/75 season. Every player scored a goal except, Coombs, the goalkeeper. Incidentally, he was offered to take the penalty against Sunderland in the final game of the season, but declined.
Must have been 28'000 in the Holte that day against Sunderland, baking hot too.
I just hope Ollie gets the 20th. He deserves that, and the player of the year, especially when you consider the no penalties factor.
Come on me Babbys!

I wouldn't argue, but anyone saying that wasn't close doesn't know boxing.
Fury was looking the winner until that ninth round.
